Do you have a link to the post where you posted your loot? and I just tested it yesterday and we both never earned any tomes on win 10, 15, or 20.

This is very weird. I can find a post in Nov when I beat him 11 times and then a post earlier this year in I think March that said I was stuck at 15 wins but not the actual post of when I got to 15. I don't know what else was going on at the time but I didn't post it to battle chat x.x

It says in the guide Hydragellos Essence gives 10 of each stat except for level, but I just got -6, 10, 9, 10, 9, 9 from one. If that matters.

great guide!

There is one more way to give your pet INT, which I don't see in your listing.

You can play Mystic Spindles to earn points to buy INT. Its best used early because the cost of buying INT goes up exponentially. The highest points you can earn per game is 40, and you can only play 10 times per day, so a total of 400 pts. As you can see with the table below, once your pet hits 200 INT, it takes 4 days to earn 1 INT. A pet with 0 Int costs 9 pts to give it 1 INT, so early on its worth it.

I realize the focus of this guide is booster acquisition and effects, but I already have a ton of boosters (and I can use SubetaLodge). When do people start using boosters?

I'm almost at tier 8. 1-3 points of stat will over 3 hours per roll at the training center. If I use boosters to move up a tier, each session will take even longer. Which tier do people stop manually training their pets, if ever?

Second: should I aim for an even distribution of stats? The training center encourages that by putting Level at the bottom of the dropdown. If not, how do I choose which stat to prioritize? Or do I let the stats fall where they may and tweak them with manual training/single-stat boosters after I use all the tomes?

I used to suggest waiting to use boosters until Tier 13 because the price of spending your EXP triples in that tier, but I don't think that rule holds true anymore. However, I would still try to minimize how many boosters you use before T10 and boost through EXP as much as you can before then. Boosters are the best way to gain cheap intelligence so if you were to boost anything at any tier, I would use boosters that boost your pet's intelligence in some form.

As for stats, I prioritize health and then strength. If you take a look at my first few pets, they mainly have high health, slightly high strength, and about even defense and speed. I've found that is the best model for the way I battle.

To answer your final question, I trained manually all the way until I hit the cap. The training center and spending EXP are still useful until the very end.
