Cork tippped Cutlass blocks some water but is meh. It's probably in antique shop by now, not sure of price.

Prodigys eyeball is the best water blocker until you can get MW. It has a high concentration of fire damage so unless an opponent has a weapon that blocks all fire, you can have a lot of damage still go through. It’s also super affordable. The catch is that it’s dropped by prodigy. You could also try sierrac basal ice flail, but the heal is terrible. You are better off buying an eyeball and then either selling the one you win from prodigy or shoving it in the wardrobe.

The ones worth mentioning are

I've beaten him before in BQ with SubetaBall, Recycle Blaster, Rainbow Vortex, Reviver Of The Lion, Phoenix Quill, Blessed Trident of the Banished One, Shinwas Deluxe Shard & Swashbuckle, but battles were inconsistent, so I took several losses for a single win.

Equip all these if you can: Aftershocks, shriek (x5), strong stomp, psycho smasher

And if you still have room: Perilous whirlpool,gotf, cobalt

The best thing to do is chain freeze him. I can give you more strategy tips if you try first and are still struggling

My freezing set is composed of Cobalt Eternal x2 Shriek of Despair x5 Psycho Smasher Gale Force Unstable Fairy Aftershocks

And my other set (the one I used against Hydragellos) Cobalt Eternal x5 Shriek of Despair Morosbane Unstable Fairy

Add the strong stomp to your freezing set and try that. If you need to drop something, drop a cobalt or gale force. I just saw tziety’s stats and you should squish him no problem!

The other thing you can try is to use the bullets Natasha generates while he is frozen, that will last for two turns when you can freeze him again, rinse and repeat. That will give you more block.
