Dang, I am having problems with the BQs (thought I was losing my mind) as I did them okay, yesterday..

Been really busy with work this week (new job) but during Morostide, I managed to complete my Pumpkin Collection, as well as Tiering up with Qnobi and Miss Grace :)

Moving house in 2 weeks, so will wait until we are all settled in, before revamping their new sets! Have been BQ with all three lately and as suggested, have boosted Helts Strength and Defence, which were severely untrained!

Now that battling is working again I GUESS I can keep them all ;p

I get Crith right down to the red, where the next move, I would win. But they just get there first, because they freeze me or something like that. I am using the syringe and the eyeball...don't have the others. I am using the Paintbrush blades as well.

So..would the Cursed Liquid Fire Torch, Syringe and Eyeball be good for Melman then?

I would definitely pick up OHS, it's useful for a lot of opponents. Also tatuvitchwa does drop a wind blocking weapon as an achievement for win 10, but it's not very good.

is that the Extendable Elemental Trident? As I am stingy (along with another one of my friends here... looking at you) the OHS are one of the things that are on my wishlist that I also say I will buy when I am lower down on the Richest User list...lol.

Yes it is! But haneul might have already outgrown it? I never used it since I had the real trident xD

DGR = dark goddess rod. You will get one once Haneul is T13 so you can just wait until then

Haneul is a high tier battler now, time to start investing in the armory if you want to take on the really tough guys! That's just how it is with the impossible challengers. There are no more cheap options I can recommend since they won't do you any good. Even T13 pets struggle without the right equipment :/ You don't have to buy them all at once, but I would definitely invest in an earth blocker first since a lot of enemies deal earth damage.

shoot me a comment if you ever want to test out some weapons before buying or want to take on a particular challenger. I remember people letting me borrow some of the higher end stuff and it really helped when I was trying to figure out what to save for next.

I take all advice given...that's why the battle section of my wishlist keeps growing. Some of it is stuff I can win/earn, like the Aftershocks scroll, Prodigy's staff, Manifesting Weapon, Nachos Secret Stuff...I'm sure there are others...

prodigy's staff is no longer a loot drop. It was replaced by the eyeball but the eyeball is better anyway :p The other thing is a lot of the good weapons require other good weapons to beat the opponents x.x

And yes, I've found that one thing about weapons rather annoying.

During events, we can only lend out so much. We're actively using the purchased weapons that work best. But because we're using purchased weapons, we have to do less work to earn the other weapons.

I get that....but I'm also one of those people that think "It's taken me 13 years to reach number 97 on the RU list..will I throw it all away on one item?" I've decided that if I ever reach something like...70, I will buy one of the big weapons

Look, I feel you. But... Are you actually complaining about your oodles of money right now? xD

97 is a phenomenal achievement, but at some point, you need to decide if you'd get more enjoyment about actually using your oodles of money, vs just continuing to hoard. You can make more sP. But event challengers that you're not strong enough to beat because you don't have the proper weapons? Yeah, that's not something you can always make up.

It's taken me 13 years to get where I'm at too. I get it. And I'm not trying to be mean. But like, you're complaining about having too much money to buy weapons.

Like, I'm willing to spend up to 90 million (I believe that's how much the Swash goes for more or less) But I'm not willing to spend the 400 million+ for ones like OHS, Natasha, and the Ether.

I tried Natasha...and Ether, someone lent them to me so I could see what they were like, and I guess I was underwhelmed? I think I used the Ether against one of the Gelly challengers, and all I got left with was all the things it made, because the challenger had stolen everything else...so, I was like "Now what?" Same thing happened with Natasha, I just got left with bullets.

Yeah... See the thing is. You're acting like that to the folks who have shelled out for the better weapons. We have spent time and resources investing in our sets. It just comes off as not great. When you're borrowing weapons from folks... Where do you think we got them?

And look, I know people have said this before, but I'll say it again. Sorry you had a lousy battle with Natasha and Ether, but as someone who uses Natasha in 95% of my battles, you're seriously limiting yourself. I know people have brought it up before that the beauty of Natasha and Ether against heavy-steal opponents is because it makes it less likely for the opponents to steal your good stuff. And it just so happens that something like Natasha is both good at generating crap, as well as dealing a lot of icons. So sorry that the opponent managed to steal your Natasha. That can happen. What I don't get is why you're bringing up this argument again, when the response hasn't changed.

If you don't want to buy bigger weapons more suited to your tier, then so be it. But expect to struggle. There are a number of good suggestion guides that lay out the best weapons to buy and that are usable for multiple tiers. And guess what. Natasha is on all of them. It takes a long time to save up for for most, but it's completely obtainable.

Again, you're complaining about having, what, 4 billion sP? Yeah.

I think there is this preconceived notion that when you have the best of the best weapons, you always win. This is not the case. You will still lose because battles always have a little bit of luck involved. People post their wins all the time but don't always tell you how many losses it takes to get those wins.
