The AP half of the scroll system I think is actually pretty brilliantly designed, I think its one of the better designed parts of the battle system.

What 85% of the scrolls do, desparately needs a revamp...

Anyone happen to know which machine is best for vending books? My quest for AP continues. I think it might be Blue Sky but I don't trust my memory.

Yeah, Blue Sky vends from Book Nook.

Out of curiosity I just ran 500 tokens (~1.5mil) through the vending machine, and it sucked for books. I got like 15 books that were all much less than 10K.

There is also only a total of 258 vendable books to begin with. A lot of them also happen to be battle loot to make things even worse.

So it's not even really a fast way to get books compared to buying random books out of the book nook.

Hopefully we should be getting the Friendly Challenger at some point this week. I'm hoping it's the Darkside challenger, it makes the most sense for this month (Since Shadowglen was in February), but as I've said before, it could only be Ian or Euclid or Maleria, and I think Maleria is very unlikely. Which one do you think is more likely? At this point I feel like it's more likely to be Euclid because with Morostide coming up Ian might be busy doing other things, but I could be wrong (I mean, there is the zapper being used for skins after all). I'll be really surprised if it actually is Maleria (But we had a Quest NPC last month).

I had a dream last night where I found out who it would be, and it was a completely different NPC I'd never seen or heard of before. I think it's just the anxiety from the anticipation. I could be wrong and they could do Shengui Guo this month instead, I'll be surprised if they do Arctic Frost before December.

Although my IRL betta fish got stuck in a decoration on Saturday and I've been worried about the lil bugger cos he definitely messed up his fins a bit. Poor baby. Hopefully he pulls through ok ;_;

Hard to say. Especially since we had a plot the last two Morosides. I'm thinking they will probably throw us a curve and it could be something like Blackmoon since we tend to associate him with Atebus and Masquerade.

Actually, we already had Atebus, and it was in March. we've also already had Riverside, Shadowglen, Centropolis, the Sacred Lands, Veta, the Omen Islands, Delphi, and Port Plunder, so only Darkside, Shengui Guo, and Arctic Frost are left. I've noticed they like to stay with themes, like having Shadowglen during the Survival season, Delphi during Summer, and Port Plunder during the Keel Hauliday month. So it would make sense to have Arctic Frost in December, and Darkside this month.

I'm just really nervous with anticipation, hopefully in a few days this mystery will no longer be a mystery.

Who was it in March? I can't remember back that far...
