What strat are you going for? Im just going full yolo bomb+crit strike XD
I am using cronus+ME+BHB and all freezing scrolls. I am hoping for the crits and freeze, waiting for his health to get low enough and then using the bomb

I dunno if blasting is worth on him. Hm.
I would save BHB until his health is low and then use it to kill him

I wonder what Carl's difficulty will be like. I'll find it really funny if he's one of the much harder ones, mainly because there's something amusing about characters who don't seem like they'd be that good at fighting but really they are.

Also, I really want to get this off my chest, so I'm finally going to say it. I've been going on so much about who the Darkside challenger is because since Mathis and Lukien were challengers last year, and the Gate Keeper is already a challenger (Speaking of which, did anyone find out what the Gate Keeper Voice in the Directory was for?) that leaves us with Ian or Euclid or Maleria, and people are saying that it's very unlikely that Maleria will be a challenger so that will leave us with only those other two, and apparently they have a rivalry or something and when we find out which one it is people might comment on that.
I'm kind of hoping it will be Ian because of the lore potential - after getting injured by that creature last year, he might decide he wants to become better at defending himself so that it doesn't happen again. Then again, Euclid might also want to learn to defend himself against any experiments that get out of hand. But really, if it's not Maleria then it will be one of them and I'm dying to know which one. Hopefully this mystery will stop being a mystery next month and not in November (I'll be very surprised if the Arctic Frost challenger isn't December).

That's going to have to be it today for me. I don't have the time to try for five more.
If you're not able to buy them from anyone, they should be available in the CS again for Black Friday (though no discount, sadly).
Sometimes the Cash Shop does bring back previous challenger items, I think early next year they might bring back all of this year's for a bit, one time this year they also brought back all challenger items from other years but that might not happen again for a while.
