yup, last night hubby got home late so he was having a shower and our dirty water pump wasn't working, so the basement started flooding. so i told him to stop and went out and to me it looked like it was but it still wasn't going down. my little dog wanted out but i left her in as i could hear a owl outside, but Daniel dragged his mutt out and he was with us and then next he wasn't. i heard rustling in the grass and thought he was just being a doofus but turns out he was after a skunk because i then could smell it. luckily, somehow, he did not get sprayed. the smell seeps into the house, so gross. then this morning i got up, to get Kallie up and ready to go to school, and looked out our bathroom window and there's a bear just walking along. Daniel shot at it but it ran into trees, shortly after it showed up again at my chicken coop (thankfully i sold them last week) and Daniel shot again.. it got away again, so we have been on aware.

I would say you dodged 2 bullets! (As did the bear) But now you'll have to be extra vigilant for that bear. Gah stay safe!
