You guys are doing such a wonderful thing. I haven't participated much but this is one of my favourite things on Subeta, a consistent, fun, user-run contest. Totally understand taking a break.

Thank you all for your understanding and support <3 Means a lot to me! We hope to return soon, but I also want to make sure the site and then the wardrobe is fun to use. The bugs in the wardrobe are just too much currently to host this weekly and expect you to have fun and be creative. But looking forward to seeing your creations again, maybe with a return of Simulate Their Style? lol

It's sad but I expected lag when Masquerade started so I deliberately chose an item you could just slap on without "ruining" your current avatar aka your makeup/face lol Aw, that is such a good idea! I am glad that challenge worked out for you to have an amazing dancing outfit <3

Thomas started the first thread on 09/19/16 (link to the board), so it's been 3 1/2 years! We first started with sp WL items, then we were able to reward you with csc as we were sponsored by Subeta and introduced the Loyalty Prize. We had 2 big events outside the weekly contests (unforuntaly just two), the Lending/Borrowing board has been major to get so many users sharing their wardrobe, and we filled 4 forum boards haha It's been a fun ride, so I can just hope the break is going to be short (especially now that I have more time - talk about bad timing)

honestly i wasnt expecting this to happen when i came back, i'm glad i was able to participate in one challenge before it all pooped on itself c': there's bursts of functionality but it's still unreliable....

While it saddens me that this contest is going on hiatus, I get it completely, the wardrobe, while out of the base phase it's been in still needs some work, and I think a break would be the best move going forward. I'm gonna miss the weekly contests, they challenged me to expand my wardrobe and be creative, but I know they'll return eventually.

Thank you & congrats to the other winners <3 This contest is one of my favorite things about subeta, always something new to look forward to. Hope everyone is staying safe and entertained in the meantime. But not too entertained because nothing can ever fill the void left by SYS and we need all our bright shining faces back when wardrobes fixed!!!

In the meantime people can probably go through the back catalogue of challenges and have a go at a few just for fun. :)

Are you going to try doing challenges again after Vesnali?

We haven't discussed when we will return. Frankly, there are too many bugs and unfinished features in the wardrobe to hold a contest relying on the wardrobe. We've seen the frustration the new wardrobe caused in the last two contests and we don't want to be the reason you have to fight it. This contest is about you having fun with the wardrobe, not getting frustrated with it.

I hope that's understandable. You are free to try out one of the older challenges listed on the first page in the second post under the spoiler to challenge yourself in the meantime until we are back ^^
