Right now I’m working on battling and leveling up the dragons I got from everyone else :) I found an ice forum guide last night that was SUPER helpful and made me realize why I’d been having such a hard time with the first 3 I tried to level up— I was leveling up the wrong things! LOL.
I wish the genes weren’t so expensive! Haha. I don’t wanna wait! XD
I also found a guide for the light/dark game and made my 75k pretty quickly, so at least there’s that! It’s been okay so far!
I have to find out how to play Glimmer & Gloom, too. It seems more quick than the other games.
Being an artist, you could participate in the skin and accents contest. Next festival is Lightning in July, in August I think Fire and September is Arcane.

Oh... okay. I get it now... Not that I know what scrolls you mean or how those are obtained. But I'm sure I'll get it eventually. :) Maybe I can make monetary donations in the future, to help out.
Ah, sorry, love, I forgot! Each dragon has 3 genes. You have to buy scrolls if you want to gene up an all basic dragon or if you want to change one or several of his genes. They give the pattern. Some are relatively cheap and available over the Market Place or Baldwin's and some are gem scrolls and only available through gems aka you either have to buy them with money or trade in your earned treasure in the forums. I found a pastel dragon which has one gene which should definitely be changed and I would need a mate and it would certainly need some scrolling, too. So time to make my fingers bloody in the Fairground, LOL
- you can do what I do... go to the auction house for dream dragons! You can be surprised at what you can get there. Or go to the forums once you have some extra coins, and then people will show you their dragons.

for my obsidian saffron coatl girl, sloooow. The mom is an imp so the chances of coatl are small, and the dad is a coatl so cooldown is long.

Can you post a scry of what you're breeding for? I'm trying for this: (but I'll settle for any tert they give me, as long as it's a girl coatl)

Haha, yeah, battling was tough for me at first as well! I leveled up the wrong stats and am a little bit behind with some of my stats now for the guide I'm following. I was on hiatus for a while, so I still don't have a level 25 dragon yet. I don't know about the other flights, but I know Ice has a super helpful community, at least in regards to battling. I got my first Eliminate through a service that's offered to newbies where you pay half the price upfront and the community pays for the other half, which was really nice! I can send you the link if you haven't found it already and want it.
The other thing I'm finding really helpful is a dragon lending service where I've traded 75k treasure as collateral to use someone's level 25 dragon for a little over a week. It's honestly helping a lot to have a high-level dragon to smash the lower level enemies and get my battle dergs leveled up faster. If you haven't found that link already and would like it, I can give it to you as well. Just let me know :)
