Oh my gosh I need to stop and get help, I just paid a combined 100kT for two dragons. They're so purdy though...and I think I can integrate one of them into a project I want to work on.

Ouch, but I have done things like that, too. I found a dragon I really wanted, but it is set at 300 gems....so alas, no handsome dragon for me.

Oh wow, yeah I'm not sure I'd ever pay that much for a dragon! I was actually sort of surprised one of the dragons I just bought was only 50k...I happened to stumble across someone's gorgeous breeding project and while they didn't have any for sale, they had a note that said inquiries were welcome so I asked. I was prepared to hear something about "gems" and "lots of them" but fortunately they offered me a very reasonable deal. Still, I'm never going to be able to save up properly for the Riot of Rot skins and stuff if I don't stop spending all my treasure every day lol

If you don't melt items for yourself you can make good money by melting items at Baldwin for other players. 2g/2kt per item are possible. I'm often (more like every day) broken and get a good income that way =)

So far, I've been using or stockpiling everything I brew but that's a good suggestion. I've pretty much given up on selling anything though because the way the AH works is so tedious and inconvenient...I've been spoiled terribly by Subeta's quickstock and autopricer lol. I tried putting up a few things for sale but they never sold and relisting was a bother. I guess I'm hoping future updates will make the system more user-friendly and then I can sell off my hoard.

Oh my gosh, they are so beautiful! The colors - The Ridgeback oh my gosh. Those colors together with the genes, that actually makes me consider having a dragon with circuit :O Heheeee! Of course! I thought that one would be the least loved, since it's got some wild coloring going on XD I've become quite obsessed with the blossoms - I'm so happy they finally went down in price so I could buy some. I hope you don't mind, I did throw her in my Den so she won't be able to go back in for a month D: I don't have enough room in my Lair at the moment, so I throw my hatchlings straight into my den when I get them. I have to train up and exalt some of my hatchlings ACK! Lol

Right? Aren't those iridescent, translucent wings just total yummy eyecandy? lol I'm not going to try to replicate it exactly since that's someone else's project but hopefully I'll end up with similarly striking offspring and maybe even enough to share. I haven't figured out exactly what I'll do yet but I'm definitely planning something.

The others with their fall coloring (especially that pumpkin baby!) were tempting too but you know I'd have to love the oddball the most. XD No problem at all about the Den, somehow I happen to have room at the moment. Everybody scoot over, got another derg joining the clan haha

Blame me? I gladly take the credit. In my opinion, those are the best dragons and they deserve more appreciation lol.

As for projects, kinda...I have a bunch of first gens who need various genes. I have this nerd I'm calling my egoderg (like, he represents me in my lair...is that a thing? if not, I'm making that a thing) who still needs Facet and Circuit genes. Why do all my favorite genes have to be gem ones? Argh. And there's my breeding project, SPARC, which is still kind of nebulous at this point because I'm not sure if I should wait for exactly what I want to start it (ideal first-gen progenitors which I probably have a low chance of ever acquiring). SPARC stands for Synthetic Programmable Autonomous Reptilian Cyborg and is meant to evoke a connection to both (Arc)ane and Lightning, my favorite flights. They would look something like these (not breed-specific):

The key components would represent Arcane and Lightning, respectively, and would include 1. Constellation and Circuit genes, and 2. magenta-range and cyan-range colors. Basically, I want to make a bunch of Outrun cyborgs haha. Unfortunately, I don't think that color scheme is all that unique but I have specific reasons for using those colors so it's not just about the aesthetic. Those ideal progenitors would include first-gen Arcane- and Lightning-element dragons with the relevant colors. I have one that's close and I'm considering using but the colors aren't exactly what I was thinking of. Depends on what kind of Lightning first-gen I get, I guess. Then, I think I'd breed them together to get a prototype and I could breed that one with any others from the AH or whatever to expand the project. They could all be a little different but would be able to trace their ancestry back to those first-gens. I'm not sure how other people do their breeding projects but that's what sounds right to me, I think lol.

Well anyway, I don't have a lot of experience with breeding, and in that limited experience I've found I don't tend to have a lot of luck, so I'm not sure how feasible this project is. But that's my idea. :P
