Heck yeah I hoard stuff on here too XD Not as bad as I feel like I have to on FR though. I sell most of the stuff I get here but I tend to hang onto duplicate holiday items.

I am DEFINITELY struggling to get the event familiars from the coliseum. In fact, I've just been having terrible luck in there since the start of the year. I already had one of the strawberry noggles from a chest or something and I have one chocolate one that I guess I got from battling although I never saw it pop up (I do try to look at what I got after every battle but occasionally some of the items load slower than others and I might start a new battle before they show up). But in any case, that's at most one that I've gotten from the whole event and I've spent several hours each in several different venues. The thing that's really got me bummed out though is that I can't seem to find an egg lately to save my life. Ever since I joined, I've always managed to find at least one egg during each flight festival so I've started to consider it a tradition...that dragon sort of becomes a flight rep for that festival, even if it's a different element. But try as I might, I just could NOT find one during the Crystalline Gala. I haven't found an egg since last year and I use most of my gathering turns on scavenging and spend considerable time in the coli (especially during festivals since I want my egg!). It's actually starting to make me lose interest in the coli because it's so frustrating. To add insult to injury, I keep seeing lots of people in the forums talking about how they're practically tripping over eggs lately (and also not having any trouble at all finding the event familiars). Why has RNGesus forsaken me?! :(

I'm SO glad I'm not the only one! I'm having the WORST luck getting these familiars. I spent 3 hours yesterday in the coli and not a single one. I'm just like.... Seriously? I feel like with it being an event they should drop a little more frequently. As long as I've been on FR and farming in the coli I've never once found an egg, if it makes you feel any better? XD I just have to say..... Your new HA gives me life. I freaking love TMNT! <3 <3 <3 Mikey is my favorite XD

Well, I just spent two hours battling and got one strawberry and two chocolates. I guess was right about them being in Boreal Wood! But yeah, they should be a little less rare for an event like this.

Haha thank you! I was crazy about TMNT as a kid; they're one of the first things I learned how to draw. Donatello was kind of my favorite because he's the nerd but I thought his weapons were stupid and boring so Leo ended up being my real favorite because he has badass swords and he's the leader. XD Somewhere in my parents' basement, I have a bunch of TMNT action figures, but my dad won't let me dig through his stuff to find them. ._.

Hm, well, I'm not as into drawing as I should be. I hardly ever feel inspired. I tried to participate in Inktober last year (even went out and bought fancy new pens for it) but I think I lasted all of four days before I ran out of steam. I just bought another derrrg...got him as a Nocturne and gened him up today (Banescale genes are finally obtainable yay). I am absolutely enchanted by his colors. I bred him and got three eggs which could either turn out awesome or awful, just have to wait and see. But at least I finally have a nest again...only way I'm gonna get eggs anymore I guess haha

I wasn't able to find anymore either D: But so glad we both got at least one of each! I figured they would drop more frequently. I was going off of the Night of Nocturne event and how things dropped in that event. I guess maybe it was different for this one D:

Oh, what new dragons did you get? I'm trying really hard to avoid "sprees" lol, I've just been cautiously poking around for a cheap gen-1 I could turn into a Banescale and didn't expect to find one I'd like so soon.

Hopefully the next event won't be so crappy to us. I wonder what the next one is? Do you know?

I went on a Gaoler spree. When I've been telling myself I need to expand and get new species I don't have yet. But noooope. Do I listen to myself? Of course not.

Hopefully! Next festival is Trickmurk Circus. Not sure when or what the next little mini-event will be. I didn't even expect them to do anything for Valentine's Day.

Fiona is cool! Definitely looking forward to being able to bond with some fams I'll never see otherwise (like Boolean). Somehow I only have like two of the Feats finished despite having 103 familiars awakened already. And somehow the Flattery page hasn't included any that I've bonded with at all yet so I haven't seen how the bonus thing will work (but I think that is by design; I read that it's supposed to be weighted toward ones you don't own so you get a chance to bond with more). Otherwise, I guess it works pretty much how I expected and I like it.

Ooh, those are all pretty, especially the last one! Love the Giraffe pattern on that one, looks really jungle-y haha. Man, I know how you feel though. I still don't even have a female Skydancer (and only one male). And I have gone on Gaoler sprees as well...gotta love those big dangerfloofs. :D

I do like that we are able to bond with ones we don't yet have!! So that's pretty cool. The only thing I don't like is that the familiars change everyday. When I went back today it was all new. It will take forever to completely bond with ones you don't have. I did get one yesterday that I have on my dragon already, It was just a little bit more treasure. Not really worth it in my opinion shrugs. But definitely cool! I've only been able to get 2 of the Feats too. I think they said they will be adding on to that though, so hopefully it will be more of the ones you've awakened :3

Yeah, that thought has occurred to me too (that it'll take forever to bond with them) but I'm going to try not to think about that. It's still more progress than we'd make if we never got to bond at all. And I'll discover new familiars I might not see otherwise.

Not surprised the bonus is piddly like everything else there but I bond with my familiars every day anyway, so a few extra coins is better than the usual I guess.

More Feats will be nice. I'm going to have to pay more attention to what I attach to my dragons to get the other half of a lot of those pairs done. I used to try to match up familiars with their dragons but now I pretty much just stick whatever on them so I can bond with them. I quite dislike that system, actually...I'd much prefer they match the dragon (and I hate pulling them away once they're awakened just to replace with a new one) but I really can't ignore the incentive to do otherwise. Some of my dragons do keep their matched fams and every day when I go to do my bonding, I get a little annoyed that I have to choose between progress with the bestiary (and earning chests) and matching appropriate familiars with my dragons.

Yeah, I like Skydancers all right but they're not my favorite...I tend to just forget they exist unless I get a skin I want to use on one (which is the only reason I got the male). But they deserve more love than I give them so I'll have to get more eventually.

I love how spiky Ridgebacks are. The snoot on the boys used to bother me a little but they've grown on me and I think they're cute now, especially with googly eyes. XD

I totally agree with you, I'd rather my familiar match the dragon but there's so many familiars that I need to awaken that I just throw whatever on at this point. I feel the same way DX I'm probably going to make a list at some point of which familiars match which dragons, for that time if I ever get caught up I can put the matching ones back on. But I have SO many familiars in my hoard cries

I think Skydancer's were one of the first ones I bought from the AH. I like how feminine the are. I'm into that girly stuff XD Hence the obsession with Blossoms lolll I've been peaking at Ridgeback's in the AH, maybe I will find one I love ^0^

Look at what I got! My first primal! :o The colors are a little weird but I don't mind. The wings are pretty clashy but I can cover them with an accent or something. I'm so happy that it's a Banescale because I kinda sorta don't love the Arcane primal on most dragons but I think it looks pretty good on Banes.

Yeah XD but it turned out to be a good investment since he ended up becoming the father of that guy above! I've considered just putting a note on their profiles about which familiar should go back to them after all this bonding is over with but I'm afraid if I detach them, I might accidentally brew them or turn them in for the hibden or something. Did you find any Ridgebacks you couldn't refuse? :D

No Ridgeback's, well I found a bunch to be honest, that I adored. But I didn't get them because I seriously need to organize my Lair/Den. How do you suggest organizing dragons? I just can't seem to find a way that I'm happy with D:

I should really try to get them from coli chests before I buy them but I'm impatient lol. WOW, he's amazing! I love multi-gaze in any color, but his colors are just perfect! Congrats! I haven't gotten any multi-gazes yet myself but I'm sure it'll happen eventually. That's a super lucky hatch though! Hm, sorry, not sure about that...I'm not entirely happy with how mine are organized either. I have two main tabs: one for gen-ones and another for everyone else. I'd like to break that one up further but I'm not sure how to do it. My dragons are all supposed to have jobs or specific areas of research so I've considered having tabs for different departments. But I've been too lazy as a lore writer to work it all out (actually I don't write lore at all...they're lucky if they get a job title on their profile tbh). Plus then I don't know if I should mix the gen-ones in or keep them separate. I like seeing them all together but it would bug me to see them outside of their individual departments. I know some people have a tab for every breed or modern vs ancients or sort their projects into groups. You could do color groups...that would suit your name at least. XD
