I see that many of people put some dragons to fight, which are very weak for fighting. I will give you three breeds which are best for battles :) The best are snappers, then guardians and wildclaws.

Thank you, Anna! I have a Guardian as tank. I thought Snapper would have very special moves? Harder to train?

Snappers are little tanks, they go through like through silk ^^

I don't have one, they are a little bit ugly, LOL

I reminded myself, that its great to fight with ten. I will buy one for myself. For me they arent that ugly :)

Welcome to FR! I'm pretty new there too, just joined earlier this month. You can add me if you want; I'm RadioactiveSquid there.

I can't decide what my favorite breed or even color scheme is; it seems to change every day lol. Tundras, Wildclaws, Gaolers, Coatls (they remind me of Chihuahuas crossed with snakes which is somehow just the best)...Starmap, Circuit, Alloy...I keep surfing the AH and finding dragons I need to buy.

I really wish the breeding cooldown wasn't so long though. It seems to me that it's the primary activity on the site and I haven't been able to breed anything other than my progens so far.

Thank you for the offer of help but I think I'm getting things figured out. :) Arcane just did a dominance push (unfortunately we didn't win but it was good practice) and getting thrown into that right away forced me to learn a bunch of stuff in a hurry, e.g. training fodder for exalting. Also, apparently, getting involved in anything on FR means working with so many spreadsheets. I need a spreadsheet to keep track of all the spreadsheets haha.

And I completely agree about the breeding cooldown. Breeding is such a big part of the game and I'm not really able to do it!

The first two I bought to pair together (attempting to approximate my first dream dragon) still have 10 more days. It's even worse for my Gaolers and Coatls. But now I've got this pair I only have to wait 2 more days for and I'm excited to see what kind of super shiny space babies I get. XD (The gold stuff is just a skin; she's pure obsidian with cream spikes and all the scrys scries? how do you pluralize that? look awesome)

Aw, thanks! Curie is my first-gen baby and I love her too...I even bought gems already just so I could gene her (and to think I was disappointed Radioactive isn't a starter color...Crystal Leaf is actually glowier than Crystal Radioactive lol). I still haven't found a pairing with her that I'm happy with though...the Basic wings are always dominant and make all the offspring boring. But I'm keeping them plain because on her they resemble a labcoat. Function over form, always. haha

I love Guardians and Mirrors too...I really can't even begin to pick a favorite breed. Each one I see is my favorite until I see a different one. They are all just so gosh darn pretty!

Wow, you have so many gorgeous dragons! I see lots of that metal and glowy stuff in there that I like. XD Overwrite, Khrysos, Solstice, HarvestMoon and Seattle are perfect!

- Oh, thanks! XD You know, Shimmer White stays white. Underbelly is boring as heck, too, but it doesn't change anything but to color the belly. Probably wouldn't want that... I love all over leaf. I'm a little crazy for radioactive and metallic...

Yeah, Shimmer looks mostly white but it gives the wings a faint pastel sheen. I like them just plain, sterile white on her. The problem is her offspring end up with the Basic gene but some color like pink that doesn't have the same charm for me in Basic haha. Oh well, she has other things to do besides make babies. :P

Not so far. I'm still really just exploring the site!
