It's hard to choose just one memory....I've been with subeta for 10+ years now. Even when I played maplestory or took time off from here, I still always came back. I have friends that take breaks too, if I were to show my friends list it would be huge and take up so much of my profile. The thing is, even if some friends never comment me, self freeze, or go on hiatus, I never delete them from my list. I make sure to leave them there. One memory I have is of a friend who was super stunned that I commented them to say hi after i noticed they returned. They were gone for so long that they were amazed that I still had them on my friends list. They thought I would have deleted them by now.

I've grown with this community, I'm glad I was able to see the start of cws, participate in plot events, see subeta items change/revamp, go through those ddos attacks together lol.

Thanks so much for hosting this great giveaway! My favorite memory on subeta would have to be joining up with the Fallen Angels group for the Wayward Squirrel yearly event. I have made so many friends through that, it's just been amazing and a lot of fun. Pinging and cause I want them to join the fun. My three items in order would be:

i have a lot of overly mushy subeta memories, but i'm not good at sharing stuff like that, so!!

one of my fondest subeta memories that i want to share is when YEARS ago, one of my friends (they're no longer around on site) kept commissioning CW items where the CI would have cartoonishly huuuuuge boobs, just bc we all thought it was hilarious. they got so outrageous that staff finally had to put their foot down abt it and be like 'y'all please it was funny and passable but you can't just...please you can't' bc the CI was just like...it was just boob it was almost all boob.

idk how we all got on that kick tbfh but we were A Lot Younger Than We Are Now and it was Very Funny Okay and it's still v funny to me gwuighwhg staff had to legit 'thats enough titty ma'am' like....its funny im soRRY

My best memories here are related to some amazing friends I met thanks to Subeta and was able to bond with. I honestly can't name a "single favorite memory", but I truly felt really loved during every single Luminaire and birthday I was active on site.

It's really heartwarming to see how much love and support you can get here. Last month, I broke up my engagement and I am/was really depressed. It was more like a full divorce process, since we were already living together... and it was awful in ways I can't describe. The wedding date was already set and most of the related services were hired and paid for. The whole cancellation process, while I was still dealing with the breakup itself was... devastating.

BUT

I got some amazing support from my Subeta friends, in this exact moment where I needed the most... and I feel like it made me go through everything in a better way. I'd like to give an special shout out to the always lovely , , and for everything, really. I'm very grateful.

I'd also like to ping some special peeps so they can check out the giveaway as well and a super duper ultra 'thank you' for remembering my birthday (it was on the 7th) and helping me to have a great day, even considering the circumstances. ❤

People try to say very nice and helpful things like, 'well you dodged a bullet on that one' or 'better now than 5 years down the road, right?' and random stuff like that -- none of which is helpful. But really all you want is someone to be with you, support you without any trite statements. It does not matter how true or right the (sometimes) wise statements are, or how eventualities that may have been negative were avoided - you know? It does not matter because the present time is very difficult. more hugs

The best memories I have is having a really awesome support group of friends who always have bracing words of comfort and advice. After my health issues and the fact that I would never have children of my own thanks to chemo treatments, I had hit a really low point where I did actually consider taking my own life because I felt life was pointless. But a long conversation with friends on this site changed my thinking and made me better for it. And those same people constantly provide support every single time I’m online (which isn’t much these days due to work) and for all this, I am truly so grateful!

I am lucky to say that I have encountered a lot of kindness which turned into beautiful memories around subeta and not just from people I call my friends but from complete strangers. One of my favourite stories was when I saw a random person on the forums and they had a couple of CWs in their signature which they were desperately looking for. I looked them up on shop search and saw that one of them was in there. I commented the person's profile hesitantly wondering if they had already known it was purchasable but I did it anyway hoping I wouldn't bother them. They replied me saying they couldn't thank me enough and that they wanted the item for their husband for ages. I was so happy for them and said it was no big deal. After that they sent me a WL CW and several WL cash shop items. I was star struck. All I did was send a friendly message and what I received was gratitude beyond measure. This is subeta for me. Where people are really just incredibly nice and unselfish. I have actually never had a bad experience with users (although I have to admit that I heard some bad stories) and I feel like this place is just a safe haven for comfort, understanding, kindness, support and friendship.

My top choices would be:

Favorite memory, like others have said, is difficult after so many years on subeta. I have really good memories of our little cult before the cult forums totally broke and we went offsite (before they changed to ping groups and updated the forums) and we had so many active people playing games especially the silly story ones. So many of the people are gone now for one reason or another, but those days were fun. Also that original Survival celebration when we had no idea what was going on and all the biting and doing anything to get a specific strain before it was over and this was before we could save a skin. Crazy fun.

This is so nice of you to do! My favorite memory is from when I first joined Subeta, right before Luminaire started. It was a lot of fun getting something new every day, I still have most of those items.

My best memory would be when I first started on here 10+ years ago! Lol- I had a friend that was telling me I HAD to come over from ‘another pet site’ we were both on (petsite who shall not be named. :P )

I finally did come to the Darkside and have not regretted it for a moment. I’ve ‘met’ some really amazing people here and have had wonderful support through a couple of really rough patches in my life. 💕

My best memory isn’t a moment but some people! The fact that I don’t even need a second to think about it warms my heart so much ;v;

Not long after I joined, I found my people! They were such kind people, and we honestly felt like family. Talking with them about the dumbest, most random things, to the deep talk — it’s been a while now, but they made me so happy at that time of my life!

In hindsight, it made me realize that, even if they or their friendship changes, friends are precious for everything they’ve done for you when they were with you. And I still love them for that c:

What Subeta means to me? That's a tough question. I started playing when my son was just a few years old, and he's a teen now! It's been with me, here to celebrate the lucky finds, to bemoan the one that got away. I've made some friends, always a little difficult for me. I've graduated from being just one of 2-300 users to the president of a club. It's not as good as it used to be, but belonging to something, sharing my creativity with friends who like to do the same thing I do... Yeah, Subeta means friends, I guess.

My best memory was completing my beanbag collection! I worked on it for many years, put a lot of hard work into earning needed beanbags via battle, quests or special events, and spent way too much time and sp tracking down hard to get beanbags (retired, special event, holiday, etc). Ofcourse I had help from my friends who cheered me on and contributed to my cause. It felt so good once it was done, and the icing on the cake was that I completed it about 15 minutes before a new set of beanbags was released!

I've spent better part of almost the last decade doing the subeta thing and have a lot of memories good and bad, made and said goodbye to friends etc. If I had to pick one thing it would be that I owe this place so much for becoming so close to one of my best friends and IRL sister . I never would have guessed when I asked her what she was playing and getting shown around the site would have such a lasting affect on my life. Oddly enough my favourite memory is from within the first year of joining the site. :O I used to be really active on the roleplay boards, and those avatar games/chatplay ones. First few HAs I tried to make were of my OCs and i'd do fun convos with people as them!

I still have some of them saved for memory, but that kind of was the gateway of me getting more into HA stuff several years later. Now I do my rping outside of Subeta, but I still enjoy the brief friendships I made and mini memories with people in passing. :D

Here's my order of most to least wanted. Get your rest, take time! I take breaks from sites here and there and it helps for when I get back. :D

The best thing I have found don beta is the group of ladies i am proud to call my framily <3! These lovelies have been my strength for a couple of major life events and changes for me. I truly from my heart and soul have a special love for these women and I am so honored to have them in my life.

Oh well, this silly game, someone in my family said this will be fun. It is fun, and when I moved to another state became a way to stay in touch and send little gifties to people I miss.
