
I keep getting this when trying to start a battle. It's not every time, but it happens when I go to re-battle the same opponent as one that I've just finished battling. This most recent one was with Quentin, but I think it's happened with Bubbles before, and I don't remember who else.
I'm not doing anything to my weapons between battles, I'm not changing battlers or anything. I literally hit "Fight this opponent again!" and then "Start Battle" at the top of the page.
This is the first time I got it this evening (out of 70ish battles), but yesterday evening I got it maybe 5 times? At that point I was battling an opponent that can "steal" weapons and I thought maybe it was weirdly related to that, but Quentin doesn't steal.

I had that happen as well. I thought there were changes which made the "Start Battle" button unclickable until the auto weapon selection option finished loading.
I'm using Firefox ESR. Are you using Firefox or another browser?
Are you saying that the page hadn't loaded properly? That might be possible; I don't scroll all the way down to find out. The button was still clickable, but it led to the error message. I'm using Chrome.
Yes, if you click "Start Battle" before the auto weapon select option loads, then you will always get this error. Usually it loads fast enough, but sometimes it's delayed for one more second or so which makes the error message much more likely to happen. I don't know why it's inconsistent with the loading time.
Okay, well I guess that means this is not really a bug then. :)
The user shouldn't be expecting an error message by pressing the "Start Battle" button, so it's still a problem which should be mentioned.
It's true; this happens when you click the button before the page fully loads. It may not be something we can fix completely, so I'll look into at least changing the error message to something less confusing for when it does happen.

Quick update - Have you encountered this kind of error again? I did change the error message back the last time I responded to this, but would love if someone could confirm/deny that it was changed successfully.

Yes, the error message has been changed after your first post, about one day after I believe. It's something like: "... sorry for the inconvenience!"
