I spent the day in Mexico, playing grill master while the ladies had a yard sale. I can spent the evening with my friend, after he give his lady friend her dues.

I managed to find my way out of where I was stuck, and when I can put some time I want to level up some of my neglected flock.

How is the weekend going for you all? It's been quiet here so far, except for the neighbor's calves getting over the fence and into our yard. It happens twice a year -- spring and autumn -- when the babies get a certain size. At that size/weight/height they can jump the fence and always do. They spend a couple of weeks doing this, with us or the neighbor's workers chasing them back over. Then, they grow too big/heavy/tall to jump it and all is well until the next set of calves are born. It's really quite funny to look out and see a calf in my yard drinking out of my birdbath! I don't particularly like the poop in my yard, though.

My Lizzie cat loved having Bryan home this week, and was obviously happy; it had been a while since we saw her smile so much, so we've been delighted.

Yes, they poop in the yard! I don't know how familiar you are with cows, but the poop is about a foot across and makes a round splat. We call them "cow pats" for some reason. 😆 Jazperr looks awesome -- congrats! I really like her different colored eyes and paws!

While sweet potato pie is delish, my favorite way to eat them (other than baked with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon) is in a rich, yummy casserole with pecans on top. It's one of my favorite side dishes, with my absolute favorite being a carrot souffle, which is also a sweet dish. I could eat it every day, if it weren't for having to cook the carrots first! I had no idea one could track their cat that way -- that is awesome! My two are inside-only, though, due in large part to the wildlife around here. My first cat was attacked by a coyote one night, and after that, my cats only got let out supervised. Lizzie has always been frightened of going outside, so she doesn't, but we do take St. John out on a leash. He just can't be trusted to get home on his own. When he was little, he'd even climb trees on the leash! (He's too heavy to climb trees, now, at eighteen pounds.) They do get plenty of fresh air, though, as I have a door that opens off the living room and looks into the yard where I feed the wild birds. I open it regardless of the weather, unless it's below freezing, and have a cat condo that sits in front of it. St. John especially loves to watch the birds from there. Neither one ever asks to go out, though, as they also have a sun room that gets plenty of (you guessed it) sunshine in the house, too.

I'll ask my mother about it. Though she has a tendency of being inconsistent. 600 characters...a couple of paragraphs to patch a story about my fursona's grandfather.
