Hi all! I'm just now trying to squeeze in some quests before the end of the day, in addition to everything else I need to squeeze in before the end of the day! It's been one of those weekends in my world. Hope it's been a great one for each of y'all, though!

Major Drills did give me a nice sweater for pawning an item,: [item2=Night Knitted Cardigan]

I hate that you didn't make the playoffs! Did you have a good birthday?

That's it exactly, and you phrased it so succinctly!

Let me know how you like K-Pax. I looked it up and I think it's something my husband might enjoy.

What made it a heavy weekend for you?

I did have a nice birthday, yes! We won our game on that particular day and my teammates brought me some treats which was really sweet of them C:

I know from reading The Godfather, how movies stray from the book.

Well, for the remainder of 2019 I'll be limiting my playing to the hour when I log on. The next two months are for prep for January, when I begin classes. Tomorrow my appointment and duties, and some titanic cleaning.

Old, and obsolete.

Glad it was good! Sounds like you guys played well, to get right up to the cusp of the playoffs!
Among other stressors over the past few days is that my senior kitty began showing signs of feline dementia about six weeks ago, and it has progressively worsened -- and quickly. Yesterday I had a particularly trying day keeping her safe. Unfortunately, as happens so often with Alzheimer's patients, a streak of belligerent stubbornness has come out of nowhere and is making her persist in doing dangerous behaviors. (Like trying to sleep in the recycle bin on top of the sharp lids and cans -- we went round and round over that for hours before she finally forgot about it and moved on to something else.) She's always been the easiest-going, sweetest-natured cat I've known, so it's especially painful to have this side of the senility. I know it's nothing like dealing with a human (I've worked in a nursing home), but it is tiring and has pushed me over the edge on top of all the other little things.

On a more happy note, I ordered two pairs of glasses WITHOUT the progressive lenses today. Hoorah! They'll be here in a couple of weeks and I'll put these blasted bifocals in the time-out drawer! I got darkish red frames, as I nearly always do, but I also got a pair of brightish green ones. I'm excited to step out of general color scheme!

I've only seen the movie, but the Godfather is one of Bryan's top favorites. I generally refuse to watch a movie if I've read the book.

In my case, I've almost always read the book after watching. 2010 is one of my favorites when comparing to its movie. Omiting the Tsien weakens the whole thing, what a tragedy!

Not so good day continues, so I'm going off line for a while. See you guys tomorrow or the next day.

I've not read or seen 2010, but I find that, even with a miniseries, so much gets left out of a movie version. Or worse than that, non-canon things get added in. I tried to watch the Hobbit, and they added in an entire fight with a monster totally new to the world, despite Tolkien's vast collection of lore to choose from if another episode really was needed.

I know that Monday’s are long, (mine felt so long today, I didn’t sleep very well) so I’ll share a cute Australian animal with you all! Personally I haven’t seen one of these in real life, but on top of wombats, wallabies and dingos (and many more) they’re one of my favourites!

This is a Quokka, dubbed as one of the happiest animals in the world, due to its smiling face :D It is a small marsupial found in Western Australia. Hope it makes you happy!

Thank you very much! ? I’m sorry about your day being not so well. I wish you lots of love and luck in keeping your kitty save. I hope things get easier, but best of luck. It’s not a easy thing hearing the stress of it, but I applaud you for being patient with her, and I’m sure she appreciate it’s very much.

Congrats on the glasses! The colours sounds very lovely, and it’s great hear the step out of your usual?

I am looking forward to my grandparents coming. They are my Mum’s side. My other ones from my Dads side came in 2017 and we went down to Sydney, as their first visit. It was special to them, but they are unfortunately too old to travel now, so I’m afraid that was most likely the last time they would be able to come here:(

Kiss me like you wanna be loved.

Life is precious.

Hello! Nice to meet you all! Some may know me as Kiddo, and thought it would be nice if I joined this lovely chat. It seems really peaceful here. I hope the forum glitch of removing your post doesn't happen to my first one here, but I may have just hexed myself into it. Right now I'm in the middle of my first experience with exams. They're a bit stressful, but any big change is. I'm very happy to be here, thank you for having me! ❤

, Thank you so much! I very much appreciate my warm welcome. It's nice to meet you too!

Exams have been going alright so far, I have two in one day tomorrow so I hope I'm not too burnt out by my Japanese exam before I move on to my music one. This school term has 8 weeks in it for me and the year 9s (I'm a year 10 myself, which in America for anyone who may be reading this and be from there, is around 9th grade, I believe is a freshman in highschool.), but all the years above me, 11, 12, and 13's last class for the year was last Wednesday.

This was actually the first outfit I made with the first thing I bought with CSC. It's not the greatest, but I do enjoy it, so hopefully, it will stick around. The first two things I bought were the [item2=Vanity Tyro Jacket], and [item2=Vanity Traverse Sweater].

It knocked my CSC savings down a peg, but I was considering buying these items for a while so when I heard the Tyro Jacket was going to be retired I got the jitters and decided on a whim to buy them both anyway. I'm glad I made the decision though, I think I could make some tasteful HA's with them! 😊

It makes me ache to hear your dear she is showing these signs. I'm not sure when your will see this message, but may I suggest something? It might be useful for you and your Pretticat. 'Dr Edward Bach Flower rescue remedy'. It contains 5 flower essences. I will try keep it brief.

Rock Rose: For Positive,Calm, courage. Impatiens: Re-balance. Clematis: Aids Focus and Concentration. Star of Bethlehem: Neutralizes the effect of shock. Offers comfort and helps to soothe. Cherry Plum: Removes feelings of Fear and dread.

These work kind of like homeopathy, but with fewer materials and are stronger. They are helpful to balance emotions. When emotions are balanced, it is believed to help the body to cope. Flower remedies, can be used for all including, Children, Animal and plants.

Bach Flower Rescue remedy: 2 drops in kitty water on even brush into her coat. If she goes for the stock bottle? it means she wants and needs it. Place a couple of drop on her treats. 3 times a day. St John too. For you, 4 drop straight from the dropper under your tongue 4-6 times a day. 4 drops into into your water bottle. Sip through day and night.

I'm sorry I can't offer a cure, but I'd like to offer some comfort. I'm Level 2 there are 3. The flower remedies are an option, a very good option. Especially if you are interested in Alternative remedies 🌿

Ps; The essence are suspended in brandy, which in turn is very warming. When diluted in water, there is nearly zero taste. My doggo will be using it tomorrow night, for it will be Guy Fawkes here.

Arohanui and Kia Kaha 🌺

Yay! so glad you're here kiddo 😆

Hey there! Welcome! :) Nice to meet you, I’m Jade but you can call me Corgi or Beans. This bunch definitely helped me out and were very welcoming when I first joined, so I’m glad you can join us.

told me that were in similar age range ? I can already tell we will get along nicely. Exams are always a stressful time, but you’ll get through it! Wishing you good luck!! ? Hopefully you have a break in between your two exams tomorrow, plenty of water helps, remember to eat something in between too. I am in Australia, and similarly to you we have 8 weeks this term. I’m in 11th grade, going on to 12th which in our curriculum is a senior.

Good choice in the items! I’m sure youll make some great HAs. I still haven’t spent my CSC!! Saving up, BUT I’m really tempted to spend it :( I am thinking of buying a Neela.. ?

Hehe, glad you enjoyed. Hope the rest of your day is good!! C:
