Wow, Noir! I finally got skin, so I'll be spending some time cooking up a more appropriate getup for Masquerade. I won't be a Nightmare this time!

I was a bookish only child, and I read voraciously, too. Did you, as an adult, find that you pronounced words incorrectly because you had only read them and never heard them? One I know in particular is Penelope. I pronounced it to rhyme with cantaloupe. 😆

Not much, I read so much it boosted my learning. In some cases I would read material ahead of my grade or learning level, autonomous mind you. Though my pronouncing was aided by being bilingual, some ques were suggested.

Gknocked at and resulted. One for my Jackie!

Hope you have fun, the plan you have sounds so good!! Bo Peep is SO cute.. ❤️I have faith that your costume is adorable. We don’t have many trick or treaters in our area, despite it being suburban ? I have some candy in case, but last year we only got a few.

Believe or not, I have never gone trick or treating. I’d love to, but I’m embarrassed to say I feel like I might get anxious knocking on houses and stuff... our family doesn’t really celebrate much as it isn’t too big of a celebration in Aus. I do love to see all the decorations in store. I might spend Halloween night watching a scary movie if I have time.. ?

The caption of the weird pumpkin hat thing is.....quite strange to say. ??

Kiss me like you wanna be loved.

Day 954 a Referral point.

Around here along the US/Mexico border there is a mixing cultures. Traditionally Dia de los Muertos is the holiday for those who keep them. However lately it seems that Halloween is eclipsing the former, even to the point of poorly executed versions. Fortunately, I don't do either, so the impact is irrelevant.

An Oracle quest befell me, her costume is a nice embellishment. ❤

Gnkocked 's door and got Kobold!

Kia ora everyone. Hope this finds you well from all four corners of the World...(though the World is spherical)...flat? It's a simulation? Regardless, we all share it :) haha!

"It is Wednesday my dudes! AAAhhhhhaaa!" Yes I did that in my Spiderman costume o.o Is nice to have a short week. It was Labour Day on Monday just gone by. I really should of spent it dealing to my backyard, "The bush" Is right there and they often mingle.

There are many kinds of Ferns here in The Bush NZ (200 Native Species) The Silver Ferns are extra stunning. Ponga are a Tree Fern and reaches heights of 12 meters. The underside of their fronds are silver. It's also our National Symbol. The Mamaku is our tallest Tree Fern and reaches 20 meters. Not only do they have the ability to hold the Earth together after quakes and landslides. They also can heal wounds and infections in us. ❤

I see Morostide is drawing to an end (this was my first) I learnt somethings, noticed other things, and found it fun and overwhelming at the same time. Ive learnt here in Subeta, is encouraged to go knocking on strangers doors. I noticed that many change their Avatars more then one would change their underwear ( up to 6 times a day) o.O Am happy to have received some awesomely fun things. Overwhelmed? Yeah that would be the Pumpkins...

Ps: Say, what is" Black Friday "? Should I be preparing myself for it? Is trendy to wear Black? Is it a reset and everything Blacksout? I don't understand? Please enlighten me:) I don't want to seem rude, because I don't know. Tankcou kindly, Arohanui

I the Subeta Black Friday the same day as the American Black Friday? (, that is the day after our Thanksgiving, the fourth Thursday in November, which officially starts the Christmas shopping with huge sales and discounts. It's a phenomenon; some people go out in the wee hours to wait in line for the stores to open, and there are even fights between customers somewhere in the States every year. Truly bizarre. I am not a Black Friday shopper -- I hide at home that day!)

I honor All Saints Day, and generally put up a small bit of decor for Dia de los Muertos during the last week of October.
Nice gift from Tempest!

I looked up the Mamaku, and it's quite impressive; the Ponga is lovely, too! The ferns in my part of the States are short ground plants, like the Christmas fern, Maidenhair fern, and Bracken fern. I agree that the pumpkins can be overwhelming, but I have been storing mine in my vault and plan to carve on them in the slow times through out the year. Plus, I've been told, we'll need some for Fantine in November, and some of the carved ones sell well during the rest of the year.

I only treat-or-treated a few times as a child. My Mom was not fond of the holiday. I don't do any decorating for it myself, because I prefer plain pumpkins for my decorating in October. I'm actually sort of surprised that Halloween celebrations have drifted so far East. For many, many years the trick-or-treating was an exclusively American tradition (which started in the early 1930s). I know that it didn't become popular in Britain until around the 1980s.* *Which probably feels like ancient history to you, but I can't believe it's as long ago as it actually is! 😆

I've not seen you today (well, yesterday now). Hope all is well!

Hello to and Hope you're having a great week!

Oh! I see you are close to day 1000. It is exciting to watch! Does the number of days ever reset or is it unlimited? Interesting, about the Día de los Muertos holiday.

Lovely to see you here as always ! ..... I do love that vine. ? It’s interesting and cool about the Ferns. I love how powerful and helpful they are ❤️ our national flower is the Golden Wattle. Looks like small yellow pom poms on a twig, beautiful.

Oh! Looks like you posted before I did! Hello there ☺️ It is indeed so interesting how it has spread from American tradition. Interesting how different cultures have different variations and twists of the holiday as well. We have out candy ready in case people come, like you. =)

It is very soft indeed. We don’t have many around our area but it is native to southeastern Australia. We do have a these very beautiful purple flowered trees, called Jacaranda. Do you have any in your area?
