I think the staff were probably unaware of that flag's history at the time, hopefully they won't mind changing the art of the Lesbian Pride Sash to the flag that's more commonly used not. It could be like a revamp, except it's only the colours that are changed.

Same. I'm really surprised we haven't gotten any new Pride items yet. I feel that Subeta kind of has a habit of releasing things too far into events in general. Like they save things, or the best things, for the end of an event to keep suspense up while we wait for it. But by the time we finally get it (especially if we have to save up a lot or wait for the RNG to bestow it upon us), it's sort of too late to use it. I mean, I'll totally use Pride stuff or Halloween stuff or whatever all year round, but it would be nice to have things in a more timely manner so we can celebrate properly.

some less pride-specific but still lgbt-focused items like necklaces with double venus/double mars/trans symbol as a charm would be useful.

in my opinion, the flag is distant enough from its history (most people had never heard of its creator until relatively recently) that it's okay to use, but the pink-orange flag (what i assume you're talking about) might be nice as an alternative for people who are uncomfortable with the pink-red flag.

I think you're right, last year we didn't get the Pride Sashes until near the end of June, so while it was good to have them, we couldn't really use them until this year's Pride Month (Well we can use them at any time, but you know what I mean). And now it'll be the same with any items they release this year that might not even be this month.

Looks like all we're getting this year is a couple of old rainbow items (and in my least favorite shop, no less), sigh. This isn't so much a failing as it is indicative of how much Subeta has spoiled us, though; this site is so awesome and supportive of Pride that I completely took it for granted that we'd get new items and only the timing would be flawed. I admit I am disappointed, but I know I really shouldn't be; at least we get acknowledgment and support here! Perhaps they were trying to avoid the appearance of "rainbow washing" which has been more controversial this year...although I hardly find that necessary, as Subeta's support and inclusiveness is not in question!

This isn't really related to items specifically, but it goes along with pride stuff.

What about some new NPC images for some of the characters that are LGBT+ and out? Like how we have the images changed for some of them during Morostide, it might be neat to have some of them dressed to celebrate. It wouldn't have to be anything big, even just like a rainbow hat or shirt, or some stickers or a pride pin/badge, holding a little pride flag, something.

i'd like pride wears that can be used as pride but also more versatile wears.

like, pastel versions of flag colours, with asymmetric patterns so that, if you wanna rock your colours, you can, but we also don't lock out people who simply enjoy the colour scheme without making them feel like theyre encroaching on our territory.

that's a complaint i've seen a lot, and while i understand, i'm also slightly saddened by it.

but yeah, shirts, hats, pants, shoes. i do also like the suggestion of wings, i think they'd be really nice. we have those old spectrum wings (i forget the name) but it'd be nice to see more.

I suggested a few LGBTQ+ supporter items because I think they might be nice for any players who have a LGBTQ+ friend or family member.

I think a line of Pride socks would be cool for Sole Train. Maybe some transformable items for other shops would be useful too, like beanies for Icy Goods that turn into mittens, swimwear that could either be a one-piece or swim shorts in Beach Shack.

Some Genetech items would be cool too seeing as I feel like a lot of the best Pride items are handmade. Let us combine fabric and thread to make some quilts in the right colors, posters and handmade tees would work too.

I think the one thing about putting pride items in restockable shops is something said when she decided to put stuff in Quentin’s shop: she didn’t want to make the different items cost different prices or have different rarities. I guess that can be solved by making everything the same rarity and price, but I like the idea of keeping them as an endless stock item like in the QS or whatever SG shop it is that has things at set prices so they’re more accessible to everyone and can’t be subject to hoarding or inflation or whatevs

I had a similar idea about using the Pride Sashes to make other items with in some way.

I never really thought about that. I'm not sure which other shops there are besides the Quest Shop, we do have a few non-restocking shops but they all follow a certain theme and I don't know how it could tie into that.

Also some pride backgrounds would be cool.

Perhaps some things like shirts and bags that have quotes or graphics that can show support to/for the community without accidentally claiming someone else's identity and while still keeping the focus on the community not on the supporter? Things like "love is love" or "equality" in rainbow letters? ( - what are your thoughts?)

I also agree that backgrounds, shirts, hats, socks, and bags would all be items that would be more easily wearable (imo) than the shash and could provide more options for users to show their pride.

I love your idea of it being more general Pride support. Shirts or what have you with the flags on would also lend more HA opportunities.
