There are all kinds of interesting and entertaining videos on YouTube as well as music. I thought it could be fun if we share our favourites by posting links so others can watch them. Suggestions for videos - short talks and documentaries, comedy, quirky, music/songs with a good video to go with them, music/songs with a photo (different to just saying what we're listening to in another thread).

IMPORTANT - I checked with a staff member about this -

1. Video content has to follow site rules.
2. There are no language filters for videos. Include a warning if a video contains any bad language.
3. Some people don't like zombies or battle scenes etc. Add a warning if a video includes anything like that. For example - This music video has a battle scene but there's nowhere near as much blood as we see on HAs during Morostide.
4. Some people can be badly effected by flashing lights and strange psychedelic effects. Add a warning if a video includes anything like that.

Interesting idea! I'll include a small description/spoilers with my links so that people won't click pointlessly if they're not interested in the stuff.

prosperity mantra You know how many videos or scams there are with "do ___ and you'll get instant money" or "share this if you don't want bad luck"? well, this mantra actually works. you can listen to it at any time, but apparently it's better before sleeping (it's also a relaxing sound). you can listen to it just for this, if you don't believe what i said ;p

a DIY project for those who like designer stuff, but can't afford it (i know you're there ;p ) This is for those glitter shoes by Louboutin that sell for $800 or so. This video is in English, but a French lady (Laurette) just published a video inspired by this one, and she used glitter make-up instead. It gave me the impression it worked better, or just as good. Make these for personal use, not for selling. She has many other tutorials.

another DIY/upcycling for clothes this time. This channel is pretty much amazing! This lady is very talented and not really scared to wear clothes that others might find too "out there." Here she makes jumpsuits from clothes she found while thrifting.

I recently started sewing and so, now you can understand my recommendations, lol.

I really like this Turkish song. I think she has a really sexy voice XD Ebru Gündeş - Seninle Çok İşim Var It's a love song, but not a ballad.

And I really can't have enough of this Jewish song: Sagiv Cohen - Yashkef Elohim. It's about God and his vocals give me the chills.

Another creator I've come to enjoy recently is Gooseworx. She makes music, animations, webcomics... I love this track and the character design, Starlane Stroll.

I was just looking for a way to share some of my favorite YouTubers! Took a few minutes to watch the robo dog and the Mongolian breakfast. It would be fun to try that breakfast.

I really enjoy watching cooking videos and trying new foods. One of the things I find hard though is knowing about the ingredient and what I should be looking for in the store. This was a really helpful video and she has others for other ingredients. And if you enjoy Thai cooking she has some very delicious looking recipes.

I watched the DIY/upcycling video and I really enjoyed her excitement and creativity.

If you enjoy sewing you may enjoy Bernadette Banner.

This is a new teaser for something up coming It involves intricate sewing and why we pursue somethings long after other may have given up.

A rather forgiving rant about fashion, artists, and knockoffs. If you have a little more time this one if very informative but also 25 min long.

This is a very good picture of the kind of effort we used to put into our sewing. I enjoy her videos because they are so peaceful.

I really like Bernadette Banner! <3 her videos are so peaceful and she seems so full of knowledge despite her young appearance. and she has such an adorable fluff-ball baby! <3 I'm making clothes from scratch, trying to refashion some of the existing ones (of mine), I also did 2 upcycles, and LOTS of pillowcases XD I needed and wanted cheerful pillowcases, and this is what I did, haha.

I'm also into embroidering. I like the traditional Romanian embroidery motifs, and I'm trying to improve this skill when I have some spare time. I'd like to improve it to the point I'll be able to make a traditional Romanian blouse all by myself. At this point, I still have a bit to go - the grannies that still do this craft use really small stitching, and I'm wondering HOW?! how do they still see? I think they use a magnifier, haha.

Recently, I've been playing this type of music upon waking up. It's very peaceful, calming, and really good to start the day with a good mood.
