I've been going to the dance floor on every single invitation and acceptance notification, but Boudewijn hasn't attempted to cut in since before the gift boxes went out. Are the dueling events done with, or is this a glitch?

It's unlucky RNG, unfortunately...

I can confirm dueling is working correctly. It's just a very small chance of showing up.
