I bought a huge set (33 I think?) of digital books from Humble Bundle recently. They are from the Forgotten Realms franchise and written by R. A. Salvatore. I'd read another of his books a while back and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I thought, hey why not? And I love them so far.

The Mincing Mockingbird Guide to Troubled Birds is the last book that I bought for myself, although I’ve purchased a few since as gifts for family and friends. I highly recommend it; it’s hilarious!

I just ordered a copy of Solutions and Other Problems by Allie Brosh and I'm super excited to get it!

Full hardback book of Phillip Pullman's His Dark Material's Trilogy. I loved that series when I was younger, but never read beyond the first book so wanted to re-read and having the full trilogy was a great incentive for me wanting to read it.

Octavia E. Butler: Dawn, it's a science fiction book. Haven't started reading it yet though....

All of the Revelation Space series, Alastair Reynolds (hence, the username and pets' names)

I recently replayed Mass Effect and realized how much I enjoy space operas.

Just ordered Batman's Court of Owls from my local independent bookstore to support them. I'm in San Diego and both SDCC and Wondercon went virtual again this year and like a lot of businesses in SD, that means a large chunk of their sales are not coming as they get a decent amount of their business from the amount of people that come into SD during comic-con.

Bought Abhorsen by Gareth Nix. Been buddy reading the series with one of my best friends and loving it so far! Going to be so bittersweet, ending it.

The Galaxy, and the Ground Within by Becky Chambers. It's the fourth and the last of the Wayfarers-series (the author has said that the series is finished). I actually bought it as e-book AND audiobook, and hopefully soon I will buy the physical copy too, just like the rest of the series and one other of Chambers' books.

The Refrigerator Monologues by Catherynne M. Vallente. The wives and girlfriends of heroes from comic books tell their stories from an afterlife called "Deadtown" - stellar stuff!

First 8 books in the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. They did not have the complete set so I need to get the last 2 books some day.

Among other things, this book is an elaborate love-letter to the city of Chicago. I think that's keeping me reading as much as the character beats.
