Huh... Though, if monitoring it is an issue, would it be possible to have it work similarly to the on-site contests? User-voted user-created designs, limited number of submissions can be made each month, one submission per user. Other users vote for the best designs, top 5 get added to the tattoo book for everyone to pay sP and use? Or have it as a sort of twice-a-year contest?

I don't know, it seems like a bit of a waste to me to just cut it off entirely, if moderation & approval are the only things holding it back from being re-implemented. :( [edit]Of course, that would all only work if the system could be automated somehow (b/c I'm a goober who never finishes her line of thought). Without it being automated, it wouldn't really be any different than approving everything manually.
