Oh my goodness I didn't realize how tiny they are -- I have a new favorite dog! In my mind I always saw them as at least as big as a border collie, if not a bit bigger. Now I am totally serious.... I need one. SO BAD> I love dogs that size! And my favorite coloring is that light brown-tan colors -- I used to covet a husky in those colors but then I realized they get a bit too big. And you look so pretty in that pic - he is so cute too! <3 How old is he now? I love the pic with your boyf cuddling - he's like "wait, what? Smile? I'm in shock by this pups cuteness, and almost asleep because we are cuddling..." lol xD So precious!

My kodiak is on the smaller side for Border collies because of his Lupus. So he's only about 32 lbs on his heavier days. I had a black and white BC who was around 40 lbs and sometimes a bit more -- he was a lot bigger seeming than my Kodiak. I like that he is petite though. ^^

Today I took Kodiak on a walk in the rain while he wore his super cute red rain coat. :D I'll show you a pic... (runs to get it)

- Yeah they're quite small. They're cousins to the Akita which is much larger, so maybe that's what you were thinking of? They're around the size you're describing and look just like a Shiba Inu :)

He's now 3 years old, will be celebrating his 4th in August. And he's very photogenic but I'm not biased at all ;) hehe

Oh yeah he is on the small side. I think that's a good size honestly. Big enough you don't have to worry about crushing them if you step on them, but small enough they can't get on the counter xD

Oh he is almost exactly 2 years younger than Kodiak! He turns 6 in September! Though he still acts like a 4 month old in terms of his general excitement for life and seeing people/friends. I agree it's a great size - my favorite! I am not lying that your Shiba Inu is now my new favorite breed - I have them on my list of one I want to have as soon as I can. ^^

- Dawww he's so adorable! I love the first picture. Good one of both of you ^-^ Shibas are good dogs. Hard to train, but he's a good boy. He loves meeting new dogs. Sometimes he's a little too excited xD But he's a doll ❤️

YES ! I love when they greet you and they are totally smiling and exuberant with joy because you are finally home. I've read articles about animal behavior and what they really might be feeling/experiencing and the consensus is that when we go away they actually do miss us. When they greet us and are happy we should notice and greet them back because it is how we can tell them we are excited and acknowledge their love. It's so precious how they are. ❤️ ❤️ A curly tail wag is sounding so precious! lol Kodiak has a tail that goes down and flips into a very slow gentle curve near the end but mostly it stays low or goes up/flat out. I really really really love that picture of him sleeping like that - it really is the most precious thing ever. I would have to frame that on my wall... ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Ahhhh. Clawed/Avian feet gets my vote. I need good harpy style feet/bottom half so bad. And with the skulls around it is just...gah. I have needs haha.

I would love to see more bird feet! <3 Will there be any without the skulls (or with something else in place of the skulls), though? I tend to make cutesy bird critters, so I am not sure how much I would wear ones with skulls. 😮
