Thank you thank you thank you, Bug and Amber and Keith! So glad about the clipped threads being fixable, I was dreading finding a backup and updating my posts.
Also I'm SO EXCITED for the new item menus!
One suggestion re: the 40,000 character limit: I just tested it and when editing a post, it tells you to click the edit icon and try again, but it doesn't save the info you had and just reverts to the previous edit. Could this be changed please? ^_^
Thanks for the update! I did autotrain a pet recently but I can't remember if it occurred on the 31st....I'm sure I'd didn't autotrain anyone of the 1st of this month....
Drat my memory. :(

Apparently this broke all the archived #Deadlines threads. I do have backups for the ones I maintained, but 2014's thread was 56k characters and 2016 was 46k so restoring them might be awkward. Is there any chance of an increased character limit, or should I start trying to pare things down?
PS - 2017 and 2018 are broken, too.

Also, it would be nice to see the character limit (and how close you are to it) on the page before submitting your post. That seems to be pretty standard on forums and can help avoid a lot of headaches.

Will do. Will do (for both)
Todayβs update was not that refined as the goal was to resolve the immediate issue as soon as possible. I am working on those refinements now and I appreciate your suggestions and will definitely take them into account.
(No, for real, thanks for the feedback! Itβs very helpful. <3 )

And the preview of the table item looks great, can't wait to see how it turns out! ^^
wow can't wait to see the new item menu yay! sometimes starting from scratch can result in different improvements than the original, so i'm sure it'll all work out in the end, and we're happy to wait β€
i'm so thankful for the forum updates (and so swift, wow you guys β€ )! after quite a bit of tinkering last night (and learning some new CSS in the process, go me!), i now have heaps of room within the 40k limit for the Subeautique restock thread to add back in the previews. thank you!!
Amber, Bug and Keith, (and everyone doing behind the scenes stuff tbh)
you're all superheroes in my book!!

Amber, I'm looking forward to those updates. I've selected the wrong action for an item before b/c the two types of actions did not have a definitive break.
Bug, I like the robustness you're adding to the forums. This will help smooth out the "bumps" we experience when using the forums.
Thanks for the heads up! I think I'll need to have them restored later or something, because I don't have backups of my own (sorry). :c
Going to give people a chance to write in / restore from their own back-ups first (in the case that people have more recent back-ups than ours)
I upped the limit to 65k which I hope is enough for your needs <3 Give it a try (or let me know if you'd like me to restore them from our backups instead EDIT: make a ticket if you'd like us to restore from our backups instead, lol)

- I got mine fixed up without an issue (and I definitely didn't ping everyone to a 5 year old thread on accident, nope), and everything fits ok. π Thanks!

I was wondering and I hope this is the right place. But I was wondering if it was possible to be able to stock and remove items from vault in an easier manner like our personal shops. The vault functionality makes it difficult. If you want to add to vault, you have to go to one of your shops to do it.
