Here's Granddad's granddaughter having a roaring good party in his honor.
thank you for sharing your experience, it's a very good HA too <3 the whole playlist is based off a similar concept, kylo ren as a character really helped me get through a rough time in my life (and continues to).
please make multiple posts, it is easier for me to see new stuff then! what a dramatic HA, i love it :o
how cute!! i'll still give you the first raffle ticket for grandad since that was my fault for not being clearer with the rules, and just count this for the entry for this song ^-^
edit: also - thank you for the well wishes, and i'm glad you like the playlist! i really like your interpretation of that song, i never actually noticed it could be about an abusive relationship, i always interpreted it as someone who had done something bad but was becoming better as a person and trying to ask forgiveness of those around them. but the two kind of work together, i think, it's just a song about leaving something bad and waiting to see how things shake out.

Elphie is FINALLY free of all the restrictions she's been given for her entire life in Oz, and can join the sky in a joyful ride. Isn't that what we all want? The chance to be free from others, and sometimes, free from ourselves?

I love it when people have differing interpretations of songs~! I'm really excited for this contest and seeing all the entries~ :D
Also, I belatedly realized: If you're Kylo, and I'm Ren ....well, clearly we need to do some sort of collab together. ;)
ohohohohoho. clearly~

Eliza has come to terms with the fact that her normal life has been thrown upside down. Her son has died, and so while she's visiting his grave, she feels something inside her satchel. Crying from heartbreak, she finds a letter from her husband, Alexander, from when they were first dating. She had burned ALL of them, except this one that she hadn't known about. Reading it, more tears sprung up, and she remembered that YES, her husband HAD broken her heart, but she would not have him, or her dying, without forgiveness being set forth. So, with much grieving she left her son behind, and walked out of the grave to speak to her husband after many days of not doing so. She would forgive him, and love him.
This song shows that no matter what has happened, you can try to find forgiveness. For some things, I have forgiven them, for others I have not. We should learn from Elizabeth Schuyler.
Also, saw Hamilton several weeks ago, and got engaged right after XD.

I picked "You should see me in a crown" because I love that song. It's such a badass song. I love that fearless attitude, and when I get nervous about an upcoming situation, I put it on and rock out.
, damn, beat me to it!
Oh well, here goes, sorry it took a while to find the right eyepiece.

Sorry! I love your HA, though.
, it's okay, I've just been working on it off and on all day! Thanks! do you know the character?
It is such a Margo song.

I do! I love the Magicians and Margo is awesome. I love her and Eliot together. Oh, the snark.
Eliot and Margo are like, the dream team forever.

Had to do one for my girl Lana Del Rey! She's too perfect I stg.

For Off To The Races I had to do the quintessential "scarlet starlet" theme waiting for her man to whisk her off somewhere glamorous ;)
I tried to the represent the whole of the song and the general feel as best as I could, rather than picking one specific verse.

Can you guess which song?
Changeling
Gorillaz,Feel Good Inc. I love how it juxtaposes the zombie like torpor of the brainwashed masses in the "Feel Good" tower, and Noodle's apparent freedom on her floating windmill island. But for all the beauty and serenity of the windmill, Noodle is all alone. She can't escape that island, and the gunships are following close. She's just as much a prisoner of the media thought police as 2D, trapped in the tower.Outfit Not Found This HA is more an impression of my feelings about the song, rather than any specific lyric. (Though I can't believe there is no windmill background on site.) The paper figures harassing Noodle represent the constant bombardment of popular media telling us what to think and how to look. the graffiti represents how society thinks of people who "don't fit in" Her island of freedom is breaking up and being alone doesn't cut it anymore. "...Take it all in on your stride It is ticking, falling down…
Is everybody in?"
I like Lorde since she first came up, her songs doesn't seem so powerful at first, but the more you listen the more you get caught up in the clever and well planned lyrics. Simple words put together that can leave you wondering what could be the real meaning of everything. For me Royals is about a girl who managed to break free from the consumerist culture we live in and found pleasure inside her own "limitations", being her own queen.

Getting Naked, Playing with Guns
This song seems to be about remembering how effed up and also cool childhood was from the vantage point of a less effed up but also less cool adulthood.
thank you for the giftbox!
If we have more should we just add them to our old post. I made one from another song!
