fixed this! Hooray!

Reopening because this is sadly not fixed as we thought. It's a bit more complicated alas.

For now, I've changed it so that it should take the unlocked version first. (That means if you used a locked card, it'll take the unlocked one if you have both locked and unlocked cards.) This is still not correct but I think is at least better than having locked items taken unexpectedly. We're investigating how to properly fix it but unfortunately it won't be a quick and easy fix as we hoped.
