Hang in there! Maybe just go for a walk to get some fresh air or something? Baby steps is the way to go, at least for me. Do what you can with what you have (or are motivated/can manage to do). You can do it!! <3

I hope you have a great day/night surrounded by peace, love and happiness as you grow another year of knowledge and experience. :D My apologizes to all my dear friends to whom I have missed their bd’d in 2018, I shall try to do much better at replying to messages, mails and gifts (I haven’t even opened any of the gift boxes that were sent around Luminaire yet, sorry).

I tried my best to keep Lucy (my fur baby) with me until after the holidays but she began having difficulty breathing 4 before New Year’s Eve. I thought she was coming down with a cold bc it had rained 3 days non stop and I had to walk her in it. Nope, turns out she had a tumor on the cartilage in her throat!! (I’m crying again, caz I’m just remembering that last night and every time I would turn to check on her, she was standing over me staring at me with a look in eyes, like “help me Mommy” it breaks my heart rewinding that memory!!) I called the vet 12/30 and left a msg and it just so happened, her Dr was on call and my nieces drove us up there and I brought her back home where she now lays to rest (with a small vial of her Mamas ashes) under my room. I couldn’t afford 2 cremations. Molly (Lucy weighed more and they go by weight) was $260+ and I had help from my 2 children bc she was a family pet. What’s really unusual is that about 3 mo’s after Molly crosses the Rainbow Bridge, I was walking Lucy down the street where we were approached by this big fat cat. He started to rub all over her and then just plopped onto the street exposing his belly to me!! Found out that he belonged to a house a few doors down and his owners just up’d and moved leaving him and 2 dogs behind!! He was able to roam and find food, the dogs were left in crates on their porch and it took at least 4 weeks before anyone noticed the poor dogs!! The Humane Society came and got them but left “Noodle”(my nieces named him). Well, my bro-in-law said if I would get him fixed I could give him a home. So on days that it rains or it’s reall cold, I’ll bring him in my room. On the last night with Lucy, he slept butt to butt with her. If she got up and moved, so did he!! Normally he sleeps at the foot of my bed. I have a goose down pillow that he sleeps on. So Noodle was aware something was wrong with Lucy. Animals are such incredible creatures!! And Noodle knows or seems to know when I’m feeling super sad bc he’ll come sit in my lap and verbalize with me. He’s such an unique guy, what the heck was wrong with his previous owners?!?! Who does that?!?! shakes head My apologizes for such a long and sad subject. ((((HUGSSS)))) to all!!

Hi everyone, I've applied to two other jobs in case the one at WIC doesn't work out. Stressing out because I regret quitting my other job and think I should have put up with the stress and aggravation longer. Had no clue it would take Chris this long to find a job. All his classes were online before he graduated the first week of December. It's really frustrating.

He has applied to several positions at the VA hospital in Huntington and I'm very hopeful because we'll have to move and we will be right in the middle of two major cities so great opportunities for me and Lakota as well. She currently works at Wendy's but if we move she'll be able to find a better paying tech job that is more along the lines of her Degree from college. Kaylee, my youngest has moved into her own appt with my soon to be son-in-law and they are both working good but they could possibly move there too before they start popping out grandbabies. I hope, anyway. they can even move in with me till they find a better job and place. I know I'm thinking way ahead but gotta have those plans, lol.

I am so sorry for your loss, but I am so glad that you now have Noodles. He sounds amazing and meant to be yours. (((hugs)))

Whew! The lag is terrible today. I've been trying to do quests since 7:30am. Not straight. I just finished them.

Happy Birthday ! You should try doing artwork again. It's relaxing, so I hear. I'm so happy to hear you are going home. I had a gastric sleeve done in 2013. There were a few complications but those worked out. That is a beautiful and touching story. I'm sorry for your loss and very happy you and Noodle found each other. Hugs I'm glad to see things are really coming together for you!

Meh. I'm in occupational limbo again. I hate it here. I want to work closer to home and I dislike the management at my current job. The people that I do like in management wont be lasting much longer with all the nonsense. So I'm looking for work. I'm considering the drug store, CVS. And once there going for Pharmacy Technician. I think in my "small town" it won't be so bad. There'd be a rush for about 2 hours a day and the rest of the time I feel like it'd be pretty easy. I'd rather work for Walgreens, but the closest one is a 20 min drive. That's not that bad, but the CVS is literally 2 min (walking distance) from my front door. Thing that stinks about that is it's still technically retail, too.. so the hours are horrible and no chance of a set schedule. Anyway.. I just spilled all that out on here. lol didn't really mean to write a whole paragraph like that. 😑

I'm gonna start the "Who Wore It Best" "item of the week" posts on Saturdays. So be on the look out for that tomorrow. You don't have to wear the item all week, you can save it as an outfit and share that! That also means that way you do not have to own the item to "wear it". :) I'll make a thread for us to play this game, but I'll always post the new item in here for us to remember to play!

I might be quiet for a bit. We just found out about 15 minutes ago my aunt kathleen died of a heart attack. We just talked to her maybe a week ago. It doesn't feel real..we were talking about going to visit her too.

Thanks everyone. It still feels unreal right now. It hasn't sunk in 100% that she's gone. But then again a part of me doesn't want to think about it because I miss her. I have my random moments of crying. I've been trying to stay strong for my mom because she's not taking it well either. But it's kind of hard.

Hey, everyone! Loooong week at school, even though I had Monday off and we went on a field trip as a grade on Thursday (that was fun but cold). Eternally grateful the weekend was invented.

I used to draw a ton, but I stopped because I thought my art style sucked. 😝 Really took hold of writing after I started reading a ton and ideas popped into my head. I'm really into creating characters and writing little adventures about them. I'm usually that one person who chucks all of her work into the trash can because she doesn't like it. I get frustrated with myself often. 😆

I'm so sorry! I've had to go through losing pets before. It's heartbreaking.

I did do my outfit for Who Wore It Best, I posted it on The Runway and I think I will end up making it my avatar. Very proud of it!

Probably going to only come on occasionally on the weekends, what with school and homework and ugh. Anyway, I'll probably only post then and not very much. If I can work out my homework, I could try to come during the week more, but we'll see.

Really long post today. I'm thirsty just looking at all the words. Dang. Hope everyone's doing okay and I wish everyone luck with getting through another week.
