Hi Subeta Friends!

It seems like Melody dropped off an extra bundle or two of Lumi cheer on our doorsteps. And being good fairies, and all, we can't wait to share these goodies with all of you! Since we're called Daisy Fairies, We may sound like spring and summertime fairies, but and I get to share love and do our little part to help make subeta something wonderful all year round. And Lumi is one of our favorite times of all because it's when we all get together as a community and share love, joy and happiness with friends and strangers alike.

So at Lumi, we like to bring you our biggest giveaway of all and invite you to join us in our community for members only giveaways, events and a fairytale land that you can make your own. We welcome one and all to our little group over at . <3

We're going to give you four ways to enter this giveaway. You can do one or all of them at any time during the giveaway for up to four points. This giveaway will close on Christmas Eve (December 24) at 11:59 pm EST (Subeta Time). All winners will be chosen and gifts sent sometime by the first of the year as and I will need some time post-holidays to be online and take care of everything.

4- last but not least, i will go with a classic but honestly, filling stockings with little presents for my family, dogs included LOL is something i always look forward to! not that material is important, but what i put in there are little tiny treasures, handmade things, stuff that remembers me of them or them of me and so on... waiting to see the laughs, and the light on their faces when we finally reveal the insides.... warms my heart!!

3. My favorite thing about the holidays is seeing houses decorated with Christmas lights, and the yard with inflatable animals and characters. I also like the Star Shower I've seen my neighbors use during December.

~~Along with our traditions we've kept many years with our family, this year we will be starting new traditions this year. We are 80 yrs. old and have been married 60 years. Unable to take care of our house and yard any longer,we sold the house and moved into a seniors residence. It was a huge change but has been a blessing. Our apartment is big enough for all the things we need. The staff are so caring and lovely. The residence already feel like a family. They have been so welcoming and helpful.

The entertainment by singing groups, dance groups, different organizations have kept us entertained for Christmas all this month. Many parties have been so much fun. Our children are relieved to know that we just have to push a button and there is help right away, if we needed it.

When I started playing Subeta, it was my grandchildren who got me playing. I never knew I would be still playing at 80. I hope I can still be enjoying my friends and acquaintances here for ten more. I hope reading this gives hope, and a smile to those who of all ages play here.

Happy Luminaire to one and all and may the New Year not only be the best but the most blessed for you as this past year has been for my husband and me.

✨ It's been a while and I'm still stumbling to find traditions for my husband and my sister. However, in the past I remember decorating the tree with my grandparents, buying poinsettias to honor my great-grandmother and my father, driving around looking at the neighborhood lights.

I gifted many empty trees from the empty tree thread and was very glad to do it. (empty trees are not allowed at Lumi time)

I love Christmas because it's the time of year when people put aside their differences and come together. Good food, good company and the awesome decorations seem to make it all worth the rest of the year. I want to wish everyone the Happiest of Lumi's and the Best New Year yet to come!! <3

As far as traditions go... My mom's bday was on the 20th, and mine is the 24th. So we've always had a good time doing birthday celebrations.

I absolutely love all the smiles around this time of year :) Just seeing everyone feel so happy! A special thing for me is hearing the song "Jingle Bell Rock" it reminds me of this time when I was younger rollerskating around the kitchen listening to it on repeat haha.

my dad loved Christmas, and every year we would hang the wreath on the front door, do the outside lights and he always lifted me up to put the angel on top of our tree. this is the best memory and tradition that me and my dad had for the start of the Christmas and New Year celebrations at my house, also what I miss the most!
