Niamh smiled, "it helped that the clerk told me you'd spent a lot of time looking at them each time you were in the store. Klaus is a good name, and sounds quite seasonal too."
"I didn't realise she'd given you Nox," Paddy replied to Fade (). She heard a spluttering and turned to see an embarrassed-looking Blade holding something covered with a cloth. She guessed there was a bird in the cage, but she hadn't expected it to be such a striking parrot. Idly wondering just how many hours Niamh had spent cleaning cages to earn enough money to buy that, Paddy went to get herself a drink.

Toru was very happy for Magnus, he seemed super happy now and Toru always wanted what was best for their friends. It was still puzzling to know why it was kept a secret. Werewolfism was a terrible burden to bare on any one person. Why would it be kept under wraps? They gently pushed their questions aside to be happy for Magnus. Paddy arrived and they gave her a warm smile. "H-Hey Paddy! M-Merry Christmas!"
Blade blushed. "Yeah... I kinda did at Hogsemede and the owner is friends with the shop here." He nodded. "That's what I thought. Glad you like it."

"Blade! You got your bird!" Callista's eyes were wide, and she was happy to see the bird in its cage. "I'm so glad. Fiammetta was thinking about that, but she didn't think she knew you enough to give you a present that big. Can birds be friends? It would be cute if your bird and Silvano's bird liked each other."
The timing was perfect--she had to be back in Japan by Monday the 18th, particularly since so many befuddled boyfriends needed help picking out Christmas gifts for their lolita girls. (They had no idea what their girlfriends' closets already contained, but even if Callie didn't know the girl, she had what you might call an almost...magical...way of figuring out what would be perfect.)
(and everyone)
((OOC: We haven't got to it yet at Callie's house, Raven, but Blaise gave Silvano a Galah.))

"C-can you believe it?" Blade asked as he looked again at the parrot in its cage. "She did? That was nice of her." That she'd even thought of him was something he found nice. "Yeah they can indeed be friends and I'd love it if they were. Even though Klaus is smaller, I think they can play well together."
"She did!" Callista smiled. "I'm sure she got you something, just...not a bird. I'll tell Silvano that Lars has somebody he can make friends with. I'm sure he'll be glad. Silvano plays with him a lot, but it would be nice for him to have another bird friend. Sabrina and Sonata and Tiana have each other to play with. I swear Tiana's starting to think she's a cat, but you can tell she's not. She's not nearly as territorial. Fia says it's because fossas only stay in one place when they have babies."

"That's really nice," Blade said. "Yeah it'll be fun to let them play together and with us." He smiled thinking of the cats and fossa. "They get along really well. It's nice."
"It is," Callista agreed. "I wonder if Sonata will miss Tiana when Fia goes home. Sabrina looks for her sometimes when Fia's not home."

"Thats really sweet. Tiana's a really sweet aminal. I'm sure Sonata will look for them both. She's a kitten."
Callista sighed. "I don't want her to be lonely..."

"Well... er, I mean since I'm there Wisp can keep her company," Blade said
"True," said Callista. "And since I'll be at school too she'll have Sabrina to boss around." She grinned. "Sonata always seems to get her way."

"Don't most cats get what they want?" Blade asked with a little smirk
Callista nodded. "Yeah, but Sabrina's a cat too, and a much bigger one!" She sighed. "It's just as well Sonata is a tiny terror. She'll be bigger than Lars before long, but she'll never be as big as Sabrina and Tiana. But she can puff herself up and put the fear of cat into all of them. I'd say Aura chose well but really Sonata chose her."
