I liked the idea of the "vintage luminaire" being an old, loved photograph from another time.

..A grandmother, after an evening out, takes off her shoes and dips her toes into the water. By chance, it's forever memorialized in that photo for future generations to marvel at. "Did grandma REALLY look like that?" And she just smiles, because yes, she lived a whole life before she became known as the woman she was that day.
