That does sound fun! Almost all of our family is long distance, except for who lives in the same city area, though another suburb.

I actually don't like wearing socks too much (neither does , haha), but I guess sometimes it's necessary.

We are winding the week down, watching Top Chef together for the end of the evening (with the kids). It's so much drama, but interesting and entertaining, for sure. I'm irritated that one of the strands of lights on our tree shorted. I hate troubleshooting those lights. Ugh.

First off, I'm so, so sorry to hear you lost Shadow. ❤ ((((((((((((Hugs))))))))) ❤ I know there isn't anything I can say to you that would make you feel better, but, just know your in my thoughts and prayers Welcome to our group & nice to meet you. For Christmas Nik gave me and my family a star that was named for my sister "Shari Marie' and it is through the International Star registration. I can go to the Worldwide Telescope and see her star anytime. It was such a thoughtful and special gift to the family. What a wonderful son I have :) I'm so glad you had a great time at the Amish country. Was it a market or craft faire? Have a great evening.

That was a special gift Nik gave you. No, we just went there to see what after Christmas items they had in the shops. We also ate lunch at Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek, OH and then went to Heini's Cheese Chalet in Berlin. Ohio. You can see the employees making the cheese and then you get to sample all the different cheeses they have. I bought the garlic and herb yogurt cheese and the mint chocolate cheese fudge.

Would you believe it is 50 degrees right now at 2:45 am? I am going back to sleep if I can. I am having a little bit of insomnia.

Leonie is in hospital. She had horrible pains in het tummy. She has to stay for a few days.

please tell Leonie she will be in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

I'm so sorry to hear Leonie is in the hospital and suffering with pain. Let her know I'm thinking of her and hope and pray she is out of pain soon and that there is nothing serious wrong with her stomach. :( for

, the star is such a beautiful gift to the family. Nik is such a special, thoughtful son.

One our residents passed away. She was 92 and was a friend to another resident who is over 90 also. She always went to get her friend for dinner and got her out of her room for events and back again. It was so sweet to watch. Both their names are Margaret. I feel so sorry for the Margaret that is still here.

Well, last night it poured down snow on us. I guess winter is officially here.

I am just being lazy today.

Leonie is still in hospital. They scanned her big time, gave meds & draw blood. It has nothing to do with her gastric bypass but her liver. They are keeping her until all bloodwork is good and pain is gone.
