I think only the owner or an admin of the group can do it officially. Right now, I don't see any authorized admins on the members list. That might be something to bring up with Laurie when contact is made with her again. Though, couldn't she subscribe to the thread? Not the most efficient way, but..

Are you serious Duane? Maybe lay down on the couch with a dvd that loops, so you just fall asleep Laurie has had limited internet if at all for some time, so hope she comes on and gives someone the authority or tells us who has authority.

yes sometimes I don't sleep for days at a time even though I take enough meds at night to put an elephant to sleep but hey who am I to judge an elephant on it's sleeping habits...I don't have a DVD player I got rid of that when oh wait nope I got rid of that back in the late 90's when VCRs came out

: You are hilarious! Weldon and I don't have any of that DVD, VCR stuff. I have an iPhone and an iPad that my Author gave me so that I could write and stay connected to him with. He loads my iPhone up with music (most of it from 60's to 70's when he was a kid...) and books to read to make me a better writer. Weldon and I have been able to stay connected with a free WiFi network that the Sierra Phone Service set up for the tourist trade up at Lake Woodrow Wilson, so we get pretty good streaming service for things like movies ( we use Dannygyrrl's Netflix account.) and Prime (we use Ellepepper's account for that).

My author's VCR blew up during Christmas, so he is very cranky that all the 35 year old VCR tapes of his children as babies are unplayable. Nobody makes VCR machines anymore, so you have to go to EBAY to find a new in box one and some are selling for 600-700 $$s. WHAT? When they were still being produced, you could buy them for $29.00 at Walmart. Something's wrong.

And then there are all the old 8mm movies that his grandfather made of him as a baby....what is that all about? Film?? Really? Not tape? Funny how the kids these days do not know what film, records or even tape is.

Well I hope that you arent driving in that sleepless state, its not safe. Snuggles up to an elephant and see who sleeps first, oh wait may not. You could end up a pancake.

the elephant would fall asleep first I would have to keep watch while it slept so no one could hurt it u know.. poachers wanting the tusk but I wouldn't let that happen I like animals. Well if your going to stay up all night with your elephant maybe keep spreading mud on him so his skin doesnt get dry, and maybe you will get tired enough to sleep.

no I'm gonna snuggle up to this beautiful little girl(grand daughter) laying next to me and try and get some sleep she isn't feeling well either so she is snuggled up to me right now she loves her Papa she don't like it when I don't feel good papas aren't supposed to get sick just kids papas make the sickness go away ..those r her words not mine.

Sounds like a plan, trying syncing your breathing with hers, and breath out your mouth it makes you relax. No counting sheep, you will stay awake in case you lose count.

: One of the perks of my species...HA! My toys outside were sticks, bugs, rocks, dirt, mud and my friends. I Spent a great deal of time and energy outside dunking Bretton Jeffreys in the mud and making him eat bugs. You won't see that on Youtube. Pah!

Good Night Everybody

If you're still up, I find myself staying up late many nights, but I've noticed that lately when I'm playing one of those hours-long-sound videos on youtube I fall asleep sooner. The rain sounds can usually knock me out the quickest. (I've, unfortunately woken up at 5am to my light still on and day clothes uncomfortable and computer still on. So might want to be ready to fall asleep, should it happen. :) Good night! <3
