Since no one else seems to have started a thread for the upcoming event yet, I thought I would, since it's very near.

So, what's everyone looking forward to the most? I can't wait to see what new items we might get, and I'm going to try and give items to as many people's trees as I can. I also might throw a few snowballs this year as well, just for the fun of it.

I wonder if we'll get some forum threads again from some of the NPCs. I liked that in the last 2 years, and it would be good to see what they will be about and which NPCs will start them. Maybe we could speculate about that?

Anyway, what is everyone else looking forward to and hoping for?

I'm excited for Lumi too! It's my favorite time of the year irl and on Subeta. I love the gifting and decorations~

I hope the site comes out with some really pretty new items, and I kind of hope it's more active than Lumi has been in the last couple of years... I'd love to see a new background or two that feature Lumi trees, I feel like there are so, so few. I hope there are more arm mod-sweaters, too.

There's also a thread on the Suggestions forum to suggest things you'd like to see this year if anyone's interested!

I'm excited, it will be my first Lumi :3 I already have a folder in my vault full of fun stuff to give hehe

I have a few things to give out as well, though I'll probably look at some people's wishlists. There's a reason I spend most of the year saving up SP.

I am, I cannot wait to see the beautiful items we will get from the cottage! Every year the artists totally outdo themselves!

I'm very new here so it's going to be my first Luminaire. I'm really excited to see what kind of stuff there is going on / to do and how nice it'll be!

I've been on this site for like 5 years and I don't think I've ever done Luminaire, so I'm excited :)

Ahhh, I'm so excited!! ;_; Christmas has been a major source of stress irl for me the past two years, but I am so looking forward to Lumi since last year(my first time playing). It helped the holidays be a little more fun for me despite the stress. <3 I'm honestly most looking forward to something I haven't seen anyone mention yet, which is Mysterious Melody! I had so much fun last year with one of my MM partners in particular, so hopefully I get one as fun as that this year. ^^ I sadly don't remember all of what we exchanged, but I seem to remember a running gag of junk items between us that I found amusing.

Either way, I gotta save up sP for all the gift giving!!

I'm a bit behind this year. I don't even have a Lumi avatar ready! And I'm still trying to plan out my tree decorations for this year. (Masterlist of ornaments here for anyone else trying to cobble together a colourscheme.)

Mysterious Melody isn't really everyone's favourite thing, but I'm glad there are some people (Like you) who like it, and I'm sure the staff appreciate that.

Yeah, I remember quite a few people expressed that they didn't enjoy it, due to partners just never responding to messages or being very inactive, but I really genuinely enjoyed it last year! The few times I ended up with a really active partner who would pass gifts back and forth with me made it worth it for me! :'D Plus, I love spoiling people with gifts, so it's a good excuse to do that <3

I made a winter avatar last night that I'll switch to on Dec 1st, and I'll probably make a few more to switch to while things are running! ^^

I probably won't do mysterious melody again because I end up with inactive partners. Id rather secret santa a random person. I like when someone finds a player with no presents so we can all give a bunch to them

I looked at the Item Directory and without spoiling anything, I found what I thought would be the item for Melody tomorrow, but it says it's a Free Gift, not a Melody Item. Maybe the Melody Item will be added later.

I am!!!! This is my favorite holiday here. I will probably still do Mysterious Melody, I do get some active ones sometimes.
