I'm kind of interested in Ebrose, but it's mostly because of how old the pet is. I'm kind of busy with the ones I have though, so he'd be training away in the background.

I have a question! How are people maxing out their pet stats? I'm getting about one level a day (it might take me 13+ years). I tried battling, but it seems the opponents are getting stronger every time and I'm only getting 20exp from them. The battle quests lets me spend exp on one point in each stat every day, Then I also tried Quentin, but I only get a few mage amulets, and trade them for ~1 tome every week. I'm not sure if I'm doing this right.

after 10 battles experience drops to a tiny amount and the challengers will keep increasing in size by 10% of the original stats (i think) per win. People grind those out for mod crystals, amulets, and tomes. Quentin is almost always stingy with the amulets and the Mage turns most of those into shards because he’s a jerk who hates us.

Are you doing daily battle quests? Those are the most reliable way to gain experience points to buy stats with.

I'd like to take him then. My backburner pets do pretty well- I have two T9's that grew through background training.

Stat cap is a long, long road without a lot of shortcuts.

I finally was able to beat level 20 battle quests. After level 20 the opponents become too hard, but I'm real proud of my pet for getting this far. It's taken me 10 years to get him to tier 7 (I do take real long hiatuses lol), but I'm working my way steadily to tier 8 now!
