I hope it isn't too long a wait, I'm so nervous with anticipation!!!!

I noticed that all the NPCs we had for Friendly Thursday this year run a shop of some sort, except the Bluff game NPC, so I'm hoping this month's NPC isn't going to be one who typically runs a shop just so he isn't the odd one out.

Really though, looking back, we had Maybel (Minions shop), Bubbles (Underground food shop), Olivette (Migrating Masks), Johannes (Music shop), Esmerelda (Subeautique), Gunter (Whatever shops he runs during Alegaten/Neugarten), Batista (He's the game NPC, doesn't run a shop as far as I know), Mathis (Blacksmith shop), Lukien (Potion shop), Som (Five Seven Five), and Kain (Battle defence shop).

I'm not sure if there's another pattern I'm missing, but I do feel like this month's NPC should be someone known for doing another site activity...I hope we find out tonight!!! Or at least the loot appears in the directory so we can guess from that...

Someone figured out how to find missing challengers. We have 2 that could be used this month but I won't spoil with the choices to be fair to everyone. :)

But chances are we could see them tomorrow night or early Saturday. Waiting is always hard... D:

Are you allowed to give hints? I don't want it completely spoiled, but hints would be fun, I do like to try and work it out myself, that's why I said I was looking in the directory.

And I agree, I'm so impatient!!! Especially when it comes to waiting for mysteries to no longer be mysteries...

Sure. Let's just say they aren't shop keepers, so you have a new pool of NPCs to look through and guess from. ^_^ Hope that helps without spoiling anything.

I'm still wondering if we'll maybe get some sort of bonus challenger for unlocking all 12 or something. Because it shows fear challengers for both of them as well, so it seems like they would fit in with the Friendly Thursday, but there's only this month left.

Also, I'm still checking the directory. 2 new items appeared but I think they're the Cash Shop items or something? So we're probably going to get news about that soon, and the challenger might not be revealed until tomorrow...urgh, I'm so impatient. Let's hope the loot shows up soon so I have more hints.

EDIT: The news post about the Cash Shop thing arrived just as I posted this. So there's still time for the challenger to be revealed overnight in my time zone.

Good luck! ^_^ [edit] Alright I'm going to work on Unmask for a while with BQs and catch up battles. Whatever they can't do in BQs will go to Cynde. I'm gonna try and get his strength to 5200 and when I do, that will be it for training him for a little while, letting EXP build up. I don't want to go overboard and get too close to tier 13, not ready for that yet. :) While I work on Unmask, going to aim for tier 10. I know we won't make it by the end but that's ok not rushing with this pet either.

i have a question for the group at large -- is the swashbuckle worth losing item hunt? i've almost made it into the 90s and i'm wondering if i ought to try and finish it this time since he hasn't asked for any unbuyables (yet)

Well it all depends... It's not a bad wind blocker, little stronger damage and the curse is nice. But really if you want to finish Item Hunt to be done with it. I say keep trying. Worst comes to it you just buy Swash from someone else and save yourself a headache?

Is anyone else getting lower than usual amulet to tome rates from dick bear? I've been getting 1:9 instead of 1:6 for 100+ amulets each time

So I saw the Item Directory loot...

Also, if anyone wants it to be a surprise, don't look at the Directory because one of the items makes it obvious who it's going to be.

Sounds like they might be tier 11-12. He will so not be a push over. Don't expect him to.
