The scroll achievement is on my to-do list along with a bunch of other grindy ones. (Mostly game based. I do not like most of the games here and they do not like me.) What's the cheapest scroll to make, out of curiosity?

Ugh don't even get me started on the games here and how grindy and broken they are. Have you ever played Card Crusade? My goodness the monotony and length and randomness and frustration just about killed me the one time I played it. XD

Anyways I'd bet most of the level 1 scrolls are pretty dang cheap to make. Just not really useful. But 250 is a LOT of scrolls to crank out. P Whirlpools take about 712k to make (per the last time I checked prices for ingredients), at least they are useful. Not sure if many others are besides PW and SE are actually useful though?

There are the occasional battles where I use them with my main pet but they are more useful for lower tier pets. I do remember using them a lot for baen when my pet was T12 and going for 10 wins

Almost all the level 1 scrolls you can make for like 3k, if you restock all the ingredients, and most of those are constantly restocking. Or if you buy from shop search they'd be like 10-15k. So they're insanely cheap. It's just taking the time to actually do it. My goal is 5 per day, I'm slowly getting there.

I prefer to restock all the ingredients, because I'm a cheapskate and also once in awhile I'll snag a semi-decent ingredient to squirrel away or sell.

Mazes. And. Mahars. Eurgh. Also Leviathan Harpooning, freaking Street Team and Net Gain.

I'm not too bothered about usefulness, I have all the useful craftable scrolls already, though I guess multiples don't hurt. Might have to look into prices etc when I get a moment.

fair enough, didn't realise they were that cheap! A few a day is probably the way to do it, yeah. I should draw up a list of daily jobs for myself, things like feeding minions, trying to get that stupid autumn dragon to follow me home, trying to find bugs in oofa fruits and that kind of thing.

I wonder if there's been any discussion about making scrolls readable? On one hand I -know- I'd be that person who would mistakenly read a scroll to a pet and get salty about it, but it would be nice to have something productive to do with all these cheap scrolls I'm cranking out.

I want to think it's been suggested before, but I'm not sure if staff have ever commented on it.

The lag has kept me from doing much battling -- even bqs -- since fall started. RL demands have curtailed the time I can spend here and I have little desire to even log in when I can't get anything done. Btw, you look adorable -- per usual. :)

I like the concept, it just takes thirty years to play (I can't imagine how bad it would be now with the site so laggy, ew) and it's too easy to get dunked on until you have no chance of recovery. Never had the patience for Magic, I like the art and the lore/stories but not the actual gameplay.

Unrelated, the Luminaire site theme is actually really pretty, I'm glad it was mentioned and made me check it out.

OMG this laaaaagggggggg. What the hell is happening? I'm just trying to make some scrolls man, and I'm getting 522: Connection timed out errors every other page.

Unfortunately right now I think it's probably just leftover site issues that are still trying to be resolved. :(

At least the site has been okay for me most of the time, it just gets periods of lagginess and then it seems to go away again.

New tier 12 weapon... course it is in the BHH... hmmm :o
