Depending on your build and weapons, you can do it with as little as 14k stats. I’m actually going to try once I hit T12 and see

Sweet, I ended up making it through 130 tomes but my wrist is DONE for today. Definitely gonna give it a shot then. For some reason I had it in my head that he was strictly T13! But I get a lot of stuff confused and wrong lmao.

Yeah, two years is quite long. I can immagine it's pretty frustrating to be waiting to get your hands on one of the best weapons. I wish they would release some alternatives to some of the harder to obtain god/demi-god weapons. They don't have to be completely equivalent, but just some alternative. They don't have to block 90 or 100 icons, 60-80 (not spread though) in combination with some healing would be great. They don't even have to be lower tier. I mean, for dark blockers there's the Ultra Star Rod (blocks 50) at t7, but it has no heal. There's the Gelatin Slayer at t9 (blocks 75) also no heal (against non gellies). Then there's the Thunderball at t10 (blocks 75), no healing except for the blessing which heals 750hp. And then it's on to the essence and shinwas sacred bow at t11. None of these are available in official subeta shops, user shops or trades at the moment, so it's kinda impossible for a new battler to get a decent dark blocker at the moment. I feel for all you new battlers.

Because we let the gellies run rampant last year, they have now multiplied beyond what we ever saw before! They have somehow evolved to some super brain with an evil scheme to take over subeta?

Oh man, now every news post which isn't about gellies is going to be a disappointment. Maybe we'll have to wait untill December :/

& i never knew about the aboxalypse thing either; i guess it was just flavor text for its debut post! and i always wondered why the hydra was so dark when the rest of the gellies were not, i guess it's 'cause it's dark matter themed o:

the aboxalypse news post is... jesus, 13 years old? and they dropped the "maleria summoned her gelatin army" thing a couple years into it and just have [npc=kain] being a chicken in the news posts instead, so i doubt they'll do anything with that ;o;

& they did the "bad omens" plot in '16, and then "bring me to life by evanescence (ft. jaxon skelly)" in '18, and they've been working on tea house stuff since '17? so they have to be working on stuff concurrently, but... my hopes for complex gelly shenanigans are not high ><; i'm with you though, i want something more than just kain hiding in his stock room!

Oh, oops. I didn't realise the aboxalypse news post was so old. I thought it was from the last gelly war xD I guess that wouldn't make sense, since aboxalypse has been a challenger for as long as I remember xD

haha yeah, i shoulda put a date on the quote, whoops 8) tbh i'm glad i was nosy and looked for the old news posts, my only experience with gelly wars has been the last two (which were just news posts with kain screaming, bless him), so learning that they are/were connected to maleria was neat!

Lol so Maleria was corrupting foodstuffs long before the Wizard, that is some interesting lore.

I remember years ago getting all but like 20 of the mini gelly kills for the slayer with Mel, that was a nightmare haha. Now I have a small army but already have the Slayer, it’d be kind of cool to add another prize for x amount of wins on an opponent again.

Plus it seems like there are a LOT of high end challengers that do butt loads of dark icons! Maybe I'm just biased because I don't have an ME though, I've never like sat down and made a list or anything. I wholeheartedly agree on like a demi-demi-god set of weapons though. I'd be happy with ~70 defense and some heal, maybe a nice blessing/curse? Pfffft and yup here's looking at you, Gelatin Slayer. Two dark blockers that come from those dang gellies!! Also Amber would be very very cruel if she made us wait till December. XD Also maybe crazy, because that sounds miserable to manage with Lumi. :P

I was able to knock him down a bit but he kept murdering me lmao. Maybe this is another case where not having a ME is screwing me? I was using Natasha & USS as my main weapons. Well done with Oranos!! He's a touch cookie.

PHEW. Swapped out USS for Ether. Used every shard, pylonic and dark potion I could. That was probs harder than it should have been pfft. Need more stats. I'm thinking defense would help me since my speed is low.

Oranos is still T11 so he can’t use Cronus yet :/ I should be much better off once he hits T12. He also only has 99 AP

I borrowed a cronus for my first 5 wins and used natasha, the mecha, soma, rblaster, reviver, pquill, and STS. My infinite use scroll at the time was aftershocks and I think my scrolls were 1 gotf, 3 cobalts, the void, and maybe 3 fatal fire

So what was Oranos using? Natasha & ME? I just got a second win, but I used the rest of my tomes first pft. I guess I could bring in Reviver instead of the bomb, I do have STS too. Not sure if the bomb is really serving me well at all, I just kinda... shoved it in there. XD

I can probably get 3 more wins, just kind of clunky!!

He was using wrath of k and ME. Other stuff was the same as Verdugo. Yeah I would swap the bomb for a second healer. Are those all the scrolls you have or that’s what you’re equipping? I would ditch emerging rifts and both gale force. Did you beat prodigy 5 times? Equip the void scroll

Der, forget I had a Void and forgot to read a book. 209 AP, dropped the two Gales and added the Void. I dropped the bomb and tried both STS and reviver for like ten rounds but he knocked me out. BUT I am out of potions/pylonics/shards and just not willing to equip that stuff on my phone so I'll try again tomorrow when I can re-up on those. The battle is going on too long at the moment, he's boosting way too much then just doing insane 5k hits so ya know ¯(ツ)/¯

Have you tried borrowing Cronus yet? I would use that and natty. I can lend you mine since Oranos can’t use it yet
