I tend to break out my littles for event challengers such as Morostide challengers, Gelly War, Survival, etc etc. I have them battle as high as they can get and then any EXP they get gets sunk into Health. That's sort of how I do those dudes, except Rahne who is my second biggest and is going to be a bit of a glass cannon (lower defense).
It takes a bit more patience and battling, but it nets seasonal loot for a profit, books for reading, and a fair amount of EXP.
43 Tomes and 171 Amulets in my vault....sigh I thought I had more than that..ah well...back to grinding
I suppose I should do the same for Haneul....just keep saving, saving, saving....
I try to forget about mine....lol.
sigh Grinding is boring....I should listen to music or something
That’s what I do too. It just feels kind of odd to have T10 standby pets waiting for their turn to get battle quests. Evenly trained pets do OK, but I’m wondering if it’s really the right way to go to just keep lazy training them until my second pet gets around T12.
Right now successfully....as I'm working on the ones I can beat, but I haven't reached to Tomes and stuff yet...
That's what I do too. Until recently none of them were high enough tier to serve much purpose past farming easy loot. I switched to BQing with my second pet once my main hit T13, so that T10 is getting exp dumped into health. But my next seven pets are already T8, and I feel like it's definitely time to start doing something more with them. I just hate the extra clicking in the training center haha.
I'm good at ignoring my tomes/boosters, but I usually turn in amulets once I've accumulated 100 or so. More than that and it gets so tedious turning them all in at one time.

Ok so I forgot I had very little exp saved up for Verdugo, not enough to round off stats after boosting, and prematurely boosted x.x; ah well 300 to cap e.e
I have my two “breadwinners” for challengers and event bosses. The rest of my battle pets are just fun with different builds. I suspect pylot will also be able to take down most challengers since I want his stats to be based off of the enraged pylot. The others I am experimenting with high def, high speed and high strength only to see how they fair going up through tiers.
I save anything higher than a baguette. You never know when you’ll need it, even if it’s to turn things in to the recycle beast. Any attackers I might use on a non main weapon for a particular opponent
This latest challenger has made me realise something. So, Amber said this year's Friendly Challengers were based more on the places they came from. And I initially thought they had no relation to the Cash Shop Challengers. Until today!!!
The news post mentions the Sacred Lands, and I realised that in February we had Shadowglen with Quentin, and the news post for that Cash Shop challenger had the Wizard say he visited there, in March we had Atebus for both challengers, and last month we had the Pawn Shop NPC and the Cash Shop challenger was mentioned to be from Centropolis too. January's challenger wasn't stated to be from Riverside like Jim, but it's not unlikely that people eat salad there.
So I've worked out that there is a relation between the two challengers each month after all. That should mean that next month's Cash Shop challenger will be to do with the place next month's Friendly Challenger comes from. I feel like I've solved a really hard puzzle, even though it wasn't that hard, but it still felt hard because I didn't even know there was a puzzle in the first place X)
I never realised that the crystals had ranks...lol. What's the highest/lowest?
I believe this is the crystal order from worst to best:
Tear, baguette, cabochon, moonstone, brilliant, marquise, eye of royalty. Cabochon and moonstone may be reversed since I don’t really ever use those. Marquise and eye of royalty are the best types. Marquise will attack or defend for 5 each while EoR does 6 attack or 6 defense. The chance for the curse or blessing is the same for both - 6%
Thanks for that! I have often wondered which are the best to hold on too...
Essentially the ones that are hardest to win LOL
personally, I use only the attack type and the freezing marquise, along with parched baguettes or bona. Parched is still very worthwhile

For your set, I would consider the defensive ones as well until you upgrade your armory
