Do any of you guys and girls with big boi pets think that scratchcards are worth it to get stats? Have you done it?

No, you are not always guaranteed to win scratch cards or gain a stat from it when you do win. Same with the vending machine coins. I do shinwas quest every day to get boosters and battle quests every day to gain exp/trade down battle tokens for boosters. Other than that I train every day, use tomes, and use some of the boosters in this list

Oh yeah. But scratchcards are not like coins, because they are almost always profitable (if you buy them every 5 mins). I have scratched 4K cards so far, but I dunno if I want to continue after the 5.

If you’re going for the scratchcard achievement other than that I don’t bother, but it doesn’t hurt to do them. I’m like Wesker in opinion. Your best bet is to do Quentin’s quests for amulets to turn in for tomes.

If you are already scratching them for other things (sP, achievements, etc) then you can absolutely continue to do that and hope for stats. I just would not consider it your main way to get stats. The job agency is another way you can get a chance at stats. Sometimes when you collect your income, your pet will get either a bonus in strength, intel or level. I only do the scratch cards when I remember.

scratchcards are easily one of the cheapest ways to get stats and I believe you can refresh through them altho I haven’t tried in years so I’m not 100% sure

you’re still early with a t6 so it doesn’t really matter if your stats are uneven / weird looking

As much as it pains me to say this ... I agree with Alex. :P Nah Alex and I have always pretty much agreed on battling stuff. If you have the time to do the scratchcards and it doesn't make you want to bang your head off the desk, I say go for it. They are a very cheap way to gain stats!

is the extremely emo spork a one time only item? as in it literally breaks after you use it once like the pylonics/potions?? i was like wow this is the end all be all weapon but if thats the case lmao

also why did i think the acorn bomb would change my life lmao. i feel like i've been at a standstill with challengers for like 1-2 tiers, i really don't know how/what to change up weapons-wise :/

Yes, the Extremely Emo Spork can only be used once by us. However, if your opponent steals it during battle and uses it, it will not count as your one use. It will reduce their HP by 99%, so if you time it correctly and use a shield like Shinwas Temple Shard, you can win against opponents you otherwise wouldn't be able to beat.

Acorn Bomb is pretty good so I don't think you should regret the purchase! Which weapons/scrolls are in your set right now?

I just upgraded a couple of weapons scrolling through the forums, but right now I use: *breastplate is new *blade is new

i have 81 AP and am only using 45 but I feel like the worthwhile scrolls are a bit out of my price range/i cant beat the challengers needed to get them yet.

Honestly, your set looks good to me. You may just be stuck in a rut for a little while as your pet continues to grow :D

I feel like scrolls have the least wiggle room of anything. They're usually either really cheap or really expensive :( You may want to try a Cobalt Eternal Scroll and Fatal Fire Scroll sometime. The former is great for defense and the latter has some good defense, but also acts as a bomb. Otherwise, I would keep working on Aftershocks Scroll as your next purchase :P

[edit]I should probably also mention that the Flayed Lord Breastplate isn't intended to be a constant attacker. It's only really there for when the situation demands it, like you need a little extra defense to get through the end of a battle. I wouldn't keep it in your default set, but rather use the Replica Minotaur Knocker.

I think the rut is coming from having been able to beat BQ 15-20 for a few tiers but not anything past it :O soon hopefully

Yeah, the BQs increase in difficulty every five quests so it's normal to get stuck there. Generally levels 15-20 are for T6-7 so you're right where you're supposed to be at least :P Once you're closer to T8, you may find yourself finally getting past 20 :D
