It feels amazing! There are still some higher opponents that I find difficult..that pink fluff ball sometimes, as well as Chase and Crawbeast...but Haneul finally beat that Flame thing as well. Haneul now has just over 200k EXP, I should get more before I spend some...

It took me a while before I could beat Malerias Familiar, and Chase.... and I think I was able to beat Crawbeast before the other two :P I still skip Prodigy when i get him on level 30, because even though I can beat him, it takes me a few tries and I don't really have the time to fight him several times haha

Flamagia is a troll, so some battles are nice and easy, others I end up with no weapons and have to restart the battle XD

Personally, if I cannot confidently defeat all 30 BQs, I spend my exp every day or every other day because I think the extra stats give me an edge that will make getting those wins easier.

If I can confidently defeat all 30, then I just hoard it up to use after a boosting spree so that I can even out my stats because I love when all my stats end in 00. :)

So Oranos now has 2k speed. He’s been using wrath of k and now I’m starting to see the curse activate. I have not been using my mecha to test this - It looks like the rate for blessing and curses only looks at a pet’s base speed and doesn’t account for boosting in battle

- that's why you should spend all your EXP until it's not hit or miss, until it is every day 30/30.

Oranos is about the same as haneul, ~920 away from T12. I have been hoarding up to 150k exp and then dumping it all into 100 points of health. 100 health can make a difference. Which impossible opponents have you taken on outside of BQs and how many wins?

Do you remember what happened, like did you refresh the page while it was loading or something? Technically it can happen (it's happened to me before), but since they changed the way the Spend EXP page works, I would think it is hard to do now unless the page acts up. But you should be able to make it go back to positive when you earn enough EXP to get rid of the debt. It just somehow spent more EXP than you had at that moment.
