Working on pets is deeply satisfying.

Gyre and Drench are now enjoying new identities (and a new look in Drench's case) as Luthar and Danniell :) Going to start doing some battling with them and my other t7 soon.

Happy with the changes I've made to some of the others as well. Not finished yet, but good progress.

Now back to BQs... I get distracted very easily.

since my GA has about 2 weeks left (no this isnt me whining) i will be limited to only 1 skip, which means.... i gotta put on my big boy boots and figure out a strat for sand dragon, surge, and other more problematic 20-25 lvl opponents.

I have Saggi down with jovi's generosity but any set advice would be appreciated.

666 is tier 9, 300 from hitting tier 10, so I'm due for an upgrade anyway.

re: set advice, i've grabbed a progidy's eyeball and a trident (i k n o w) and blessed it UP.

what are your scrolls? Most of those dudes can be chain frozen.

@ Loten right now i'm onl rocking an aftershocks and a shriek because i'm capped in AP at 44 because of a book vanity.....i'm tempted to break it because he has high intel but ugh it took me so long to get to 666 books 667 will kill me soul a little bit

I’m on mobile, so I can’t really dig around much. Why the mystical star shuriken? I think you’ve long past outgrown it. Can you afford a Reviver of the Lion? A second near full heal was always super useful to me during progression on chums and I need it frequently with Wrain in the 25-30 bracket even with a few GotF on hand. I would suggest replacing the shuriken with the reviver and using Prodigy’s Eyeball against Surge.

not sure honestly, i'm pretty lost when it comes to having an optimal set. I do have an eye that I'll use when I hit tier 10, I can afford the lion but I dropped some hot cash today and the 69mil price tag is eye watering (i know 7402349 people are side eyeing me right now i know stuff gets so much more expensive i just refuse to acknowledge it)

Yeah, it’s pricey, but I’ve found it to be a worthwhile investment. And any pet T5 and up will be able to make use of it too.

GotF is Gift of the Forj, a scroll with some attack, some defense, but mostly a 1500hp heal. It’s nice to have around.

Ooohh I'll have a look into those! I don't plan on leveling vaccinate past tier 7 tbh, I don't wanna have multiple BPs, one amulet/tome scrounger will be enough

Already grabbed one! Just need to hit tier 10 to use it! Also got a trident (finally). Trying to scrounge up enough EH tokens for the helmet (tho thats proving a bit tough)

They run around 100m/1000csc if you can find people selling and take 15AP so.. umm... have I mentioned that’s more or less where my commission money goes?

They’re once per battle, but you can bring as many as you can equip/afford.

I think i have enough AP to use one on 666 without breaking the book vanity so just need to wait and see if someone sells one!

I'm not as helpful at giving set advice as others, but do you have a Cold Blast Scroll? It's another freezing scroll that's not too difficult to obtain, you can get one by defeating Mama Mush and Daemon 75 times each and then combining their tattered scroll pieces at Genetech. I think it's exact freeze rate might not be as high as the Psycho Smasher or Shriek scrolls, but it's still a nice one to have since you can get it for free for a little effort.

[edit]And it only uses 13 AP, so it's a few points less than the other two freezers.

Honestly in the long run if you really wanna battle "seriously" you're either going to have to train up another pet or give in and read something else to 666. Only being able to use maybe two scrolls in a battle is hurting you now and is going to hurt more later.

Even if you only want to farm tomes/amulets, you can only do that once per pet. More pets = more loot.

yeahhhh i know, i really wish AP wasn't linked to book reading, because if i didnt have the vanity cap i'd have 58AP instead of my 44AP. I have a tier 4 and a tier 6 pet but I want to focus on my main right now, you know?

Yeah, I feel you. It should just be linked to intel regardless of where the intel comes from, but oh well.

yeah it feels oddly unnecessary for it to be books only, I hope at some point it changes? but probably not since it'd need to redo how the AP system works. it's just an odd discrepancy.

Who else is giving you problems? Equipping as many freezing scrolls as possible is super helpful. Sorry I am on mobile and can’t really dive too much into this

Get the energized helmet too to replace the gorgun
