My instinct is to say to unlock! Given you're a battler and active trainer, it's not like the opponent won't be appreciated down the road! I unlocked the last one last year despite it being damn impossible to beat.

The 2017 loot was better, but it's nothing to scoff at this year.

Yes! I was able to beat Blaire without much difficulty. (My high health helped I think.) My core weapons were Natasha/Trident only because they're my defaults and I didn't struggle enough to warrant changing. The lack of scrolls was the hardest part for her!

This year I was also able to beat the 8 header. I got my 5 wins without too much pain. Some pain, and some very long battles, but overall doable.

I don't even want to try the 8 header. Haneul lasted a long time with Blaire. It's due to me being stingy and not spending the money on a Natasha...or an Ether. Lol. And yeah, the lack of scrolls doesn't help either...

Heh, yeah, I know that fear with the 8 header. Perhaps next year! Also I can lend weaponry! (if the mods are replaced) TBH, I'm not even sure if Natasha/trident is best for Blaire. There night be a better combo- I just didn't spend much time looking.

The 8-head hydra though... I can't seem to lower its health under 20k :P

I used PBB, ME, and Trident against Blaire and managed 10 wins with only 1 loss, but I was just messing around half the time so I don't really know what the best option is there either. ;~;

Slaughtered my way through all the event challengers with Occlumens - that final hydra takes forever to go down but we got there eventually. Will maybe take the littles as far as they can over the weekend. Maybe.

One Assassin Scroll (I already have one) and seven amulets (none of which gave me tomes, grr) from Dean.

Eight amulets (giving two tomes) and seven tomes from Blaire.

And around 150k exp.

I'm happy.

You get Cronus essentially by beating Meatslab, the furious. You can unlock the 3 meatslabs via the Bloody Summoning Altar. [Item=Bloody Summoning Altar]

Ah yeah, I haven't been able to beat Meatslab, the furious to get the Baal, that's why I don't have it :P Though i do have to say, I haven't attempted him in a good while. I should also get off my butt and finally invest in those soma tablets XD Thanks

Well that was definitely a struggle! But definitely worth it. I wanted to post a write up of what I used to potentially help anyone down the line (and for anyone who is close to Ely right now.)

To begin, Ely is currently at 16,338 total stats. It took me two ties, and 20 losses to get to 5 wins.
