I just noticed this. I'm not entirely sure if this has to do with the downtime but it wasn't an issue before. Two CWs in my wardrobe (coincidentally my own releases) have these weird teal/white blotches on them?

I'm not sure what's causing this. I have tried looking at them on Chrome & Firefox and the problem seems to only be on Chrome. These were part of a set of 4 blushes and the other two are just fine:

[edit]

I tried wearing both blushes on my HA and exiting the wardrobe and they look fine on the HA. The blotches ONLY seem to come up during previewing the blushes via wardrobe/hovering over the item in shop search/forums. They appear normal on a saved HA in the outfits section of the wardrobe as well. But when I load them, the blotches show again.

@Cresenta they look normal to me. can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing? i know there have been times in the past where people have seen weird color distortions in the wardrobe

@Cresenta

Did you try clearing cache? Not sure if it will help but I'm using chrome and I don't think I see any teal blotches anywhere.

I'm seeing them with the blotches all across the site (shop search/forum/wardrobe) It's just these two too which is odd. :(

Here is what I am seeing:

Wardrobe:

Tried that, didn't work ;__;

@Cresenta I think this may be an issue with your chrome. I am on chrome and they don't look anything like the screenshots. I would try restarting chrome and maybe restarting your computer if clearing cache doesn't work.

Hi there! I just cleared the cache again from all the way back, restarted Chrome, and my computer and this is still not resolved. I have no idea what's wrong. It's just those two items too. Should I make a ticket? :(

@Cresenta I honestly don't think a ticket will help tbh. I can ask around but it is really weird.

@Cresenta recently my own Chrome did some updates and has started up with a buncha new features lately one of which makes the dayscreen bluer and the nightscreen more brown. It makes many images look funny because colors that would ordinarily not be obvious show up, and other previously obvious colors disappear. It doesn't do well with some of my monitor's physically-made settings either.

You may need to do a Power Wash and then dig through your Web settings and see if you got these new screen controls too, and then fiddle with your monitor's buttons.

Thanks for the input! :) I just find it weird it would be that as I have not noticed this (any color change/weird color spots) on anything else (subeta or any other site I use). Legit just those 2 CWS, while the other 2 in the SAME SET show up fine. Super weird.

@Cresenta i am on Chrome and have been having this issue on/off for weeks, not just on Subeta, on Facebook and other places as well (see the smiley emoticon below)

clearing cache and doing other similar things such as deleting and reinstalling it even did not improve the problem so good news is that it has nothing to do with here, bad news is that i have contacted Chrome about it multiple times, on Twitter, via email, they just don't care to reply so..... yeah, it is what it is!

That's so weird x_x

I don't seem to be affected by it anywhere else though but maybe I will be later on. Idk, I hope Chrome gets their crap together lol. Thanks for your input lovely! <3

@Cresenta no probs frendo! mostly i was kinda/sorta happy to know i wasn't alone anymore haha! it's mostly apparent on Subeta for me too, so the first few days i was so sure CWs were borked, but then i could notice it on FB and such :( i even thought of upgrading my graphic card but it is already on the latest drivers sooooo yup, boooo Chrome hehe

This might be the fix you need:

Quote
It will occur when:

SW rasterization (that&;s why we&;re only seeing it on Linux).

A color profile installed with a gamut that&;s smaller than sRGB. This is very rare. Most users have sRGB profiles, and most users that don&;t have sRGB have larger gamut profiles (like AdobeRGB).

For now, a workaround you can try is:
Go to chrome://flags/-color-profile and set to sRGB

I believe the problem has been fixed, but will be available in upcoming next Chrome 69.

If that doesn't work, there's another post on that thread that mentions turning off hardware acceleration that might help.

Thanks for your input! ^_^ Sadly none of those worked for me :( Turning off hardware acceleration did something but it just made the blotches pink/orange but didn't remove them. I guess I just have to wait for Chrome to sort this out, I dunno what else to do. x_x

thank you n_n

i do professional photography for a living so i need my screen to be color balanced/corrected at all times and therefore need to keep my ICC profile the way it is. as for the acceleration etc. i must also keep my nVidia card set that way for other purposes such as 3D etc. but i find it interesting! i will read more about it, i am hopeful that since this bug came with the last update, a future one will resolve it!

Yeah if it is a Chrome issue then there is unfortunately nothing we can do. Hopefully the next update will fix it! Since this is a browser issue, locking this up.
