Missing sMails from 2014 and older

I don't have any sMails dated 2014 or older, only one page total left, and I know I used to have two pages. I also had a subfolder for 'Discount Codes' (those old things), and I was pretty sure I had one left but it's gone when I went to check. I've since deleted the folder since I thought I'd used them all, but now I think it might have been gone as part of the bug.

I confirm I am missing over 40 emails as well. Only reason I noticed is because I am constantly so close to being full (150/150) and I am suddenly at around 130-something.
Mine doesn’t seem to have anything to do with older ones, tho there isn’t a way to be 100% sure but my account is 3 years old and I can see most of my oldest communications.

We passed this on to and he is going to be restoring some sMails from a database backup we have. So, the bad news is that this may take a day or two, since it is a massive amount of data transfer. The good news is that the sMails are not lost forever since we have that backup!

oh I hope they do get restored... I had a sub folder with over a dozen cash shop codes that are all gone now :( Thank you for working on this!
Not the exact same issue but I'm pretty positive I lost a bunch of old alerts in the various server swap/downtime.
I have a ton of old alerts sitting, I'm not surprised at all, it might even be on purpose/not a bug and isn't likely relevant to most anyone else but just in case I guess? I've avoided putting it anywhere since it's a pretty weird/unique case but there was another thread about alerts being wonky earlier (Alerts Go to wrong links) and rechecking on this issue with old Smails also made me think about it.
hi! is there any news on this? i had an old cash shop coupon smail saved that i wanted to use for the sale going on c: i use one every year so i wanted to know if i should wait to purchase or not!
No news yet. I will ask about it again this week.

Even if they can't be restored on-site for whatever reason, a text download might be appreciated by some people if it's even possible.
Hey everyone, just checking back in. I've attempted to merge the old mails back onto the site.. a number of times now and have been unsuccessful.
Unfortunately, sMail is now the oldest system remaining on the site and the way that mails are stored is... really bad. Each mail and reply are an entirely new row in the database (instead of being "threaded" in the way most systems are now) and that means that the table itself is almost 50GB. Inserting years of data back into it has crashed the database (and the site) at each attempt.
I'll look into the possibility of getting them as text downloads on the site, but at this point I've put a lot of time into getting them onto the site and it's been unsuccessful, and it's about time to call it :(
