I think this might be a caching issue. I spent a couple hours debugging this, and I found that if you go into your wardrobe and click "Wear" a few times, it can get it to update.

Make sure the replacement part isn't accidentally under your base though! Maybe it was just me being scatterbrained, but I replaced something on the face layer and I didn't realize the replacement part was actually on the "eyes" layer, so I had to drag "eyes" above my base before I could see it.

(Also, I pushed some code to Rachelle's shop just now, but I want to test it a bit before telling you it's okay to spend sP on it again!)
