forum mentions wonky?

so it could be that they are still working (since I did recently get a forum mention in my events tab) but they look like they're not? usually when you @ mention someone their name gets bolded and turned into a link to their profile and if it didn't then that's a sign you misspelled their username or that it wasn't working, but right now it doesn't look like any @ mentions are getting bolded, so they look like they're not working, but they might still be getting through anyway.. it's a little confusing
I noticed that to, i pinged someone and it's not working. Also # pings are not working
Working on it :) The pings do work, but they are showing up incorrectly.

Okay, I think we got this figured out now!
- Removed that pesky icon from user pings, while keeping the part we wanted: the user hover :D
- Made forum group pings link to the forum group correctly again
Please note that older forum posts may not show correctly due to cache, but everything should start displaying correctly over the course of the next few hours.
