Yeah I like the big stories too but it's nice to have a stand alone episode now and then (it feels like it's been forever since we've had one). It's also nice to see Dean happy, which is another element of this week's episode ;)

Yes! I agree! I watched it yesterday, and it was a really nice break from everything-- when was the last time we've seen them fight something as small as a ghost? LOL.

I have to say though, it seems like we're seeing them get their asses kicked by things more and more often lately. Sam gets knocked out and Dean almost gets choked out-- In one episode? And they ALL had to be saved by archangel-pitchfork-wielding girl, what? One episode ago? And 5 episodes ago Sam gets his throat ripped out? I guess I appreciate them injecting some realism (they ARE getting older, I guess!), but it's off-putting XD

I honestly can't remember the last time we had an episode that was just the boys fighting a 'normal' monster - I really enjoyed it.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's noticed that the boys seem to have forgotten how to fight lately. Like how are you guys getting your butts kicked so easily lately? Of course if I was in those situations I would be dead right away but they're the Winchesters they're suppose to be basically the best hunters in the world lol Speaking of them getting older, I have a feeling it would easier on Jensen and Jared if Dean and Sam were winning the fights so they wouldn't have to take all those falls lol
