New as of a few days ago! I’m 23 and I love neopets (been playing for a very long time) and FR and I’m so late to the party on Subeta but I’m loving it so far. :’) Are there any useful guides on things like battling? I found a nice guide, I think! But still, any tips for a newbie is appreciated haha

Welcome! I too played neopets for a better part of my childhood up until 3 or 4 years ago now. I've been on subeta for 12 years and neopets for probably 15...I can't remember lol.

Hi! I started playing neo when I was 8 I think? But little me wasn’t great at keeping track of accounts so my oldest account is about 10 years old :P Playing subeta rn almost feels like making a neopets account for the first time! Only making sp is easier than making np

My other interests include pokemon and drawing and anything spooky or evil

Gosh yes sP is way easier than np. I never amounted to much on neopets bc they gaming was horrible. I got my pets on there through adoption mainly. I'm not really sure how old my first account is and I'm too lazy to check haha.

Trudy is a lifesaver because otherwise earning nps kinda sucks :') I adopted some of my nice pets, got lucky with an ffq/the lab ray with others and trained pets/traded UCs/sniped good names for others. Very few have to do with actually getting nps efjgkfgkghkjl

ah yes. That definitely helped. It's like with the bathouse here though. I'd forget to log on and have to start all over.

I got lucky with an ffq. My best pet was a mara draik but I did have mockingjay the plushie chomby at one point and being dumb at the time traded it for a plushie gnorbu. Later someone got a really good UC with it. I also once had a vbn UC werelupe and traded it for a vvbn fire draik lol. I think my first game was Red. I had yellow not long after. The only game until recently I never had was Blue actually. I stopped playing in recent years bc of my kids. No time lol.

At least trudy has a notification. Is there an alert for the bath house because I used it for the first time today and don't remember seeing one--

I worked so hard for a UC grey yurble, man. Two trading chains over the course of two years and lots of training... I love my sad bear boy. Aw, that sucks. How old are they? With games coming to switch like lets go pikachu/eevee with its multiplayer compatibility maybe one day you can be playing pokemon with them! :)

There isn't an alert but they have a baord speficically for it where the pings everyone every night at midnight. It's under the general discussion forum topic.

Aw. I wanted a UC grey gelert so bad or a uni. It just wasn't meant to be. Maybe one day we can play the vintage games. Right now my son is 2 this November and my daughter is 5 months.

Rn I’m wondering where the best place to get books is after exhausting the book nook’s common stock and the best way for a nervous person like myself to rack up forum posts without spamming— looking to get into the blue building and get a bumbus maybe.

EDIT: Looking at that newbie guide and I feel some quest info is outdated? Ive definitely done Sarah’s quests with more than 500k on hand and saggitarius rejects me when I’m below 1.5 mil sp, not 750k.

For Books, Subetalodge has a great way for making a list if you set up an account. It's basically a checklist of every book and you can search by rarity etc. so you can eliminate cheap ones first, and some items can be combo'd or restocked in different shops, and the item notes will help you with that.

For Blue building - Folks are pretty chatty, there are some social groups such as in Chit Chat, and if you're on at the same time as a few other users it's pretty quick to rack up your posts. There are also some data collecting threads,

I haven't been able to do Sarah, so I'm not sure about the limits. I'll pop a message and see if she can rectify that.

The "What to Do" link that Pumpkin posted is the best....

You won't ever miss a daily and just remember you can set alerts for almost everything (Zapper, scratchcards, random etc) so that you won't miss your opportunities!

It also has quick links to all the quests. I have a gold account so get an extra 5 quests per quest giver, but if I do all my quests for the day I usually wind up with 2.5-4m sP in actual coin (save up enough money to be able to do the Saggitarius quets, it is WORTH IT!) Plus another 2.5m+ in things to sell in my shop.

I have a subeta lodge account now! The checklists are confusing though? How do they work? I have a checklist for the books Devyl has read, how do I know if it's a book I need? The search told me a book was on my checklist for Devyl and when I bought it, Devyl had already read it. So I bought a book that it said ISNT on that checklist, and Devyl had read that book too.

You have to enter the info first, so that SL knows what your pet has read Lists >[user=https://www.subetalodge.org/mass_add]Mass Add[/url]

After completing this the first time, you should be checking off each book as you read it to update the list, it's not automatic. Read books will be in a green box, and unread books are in a red box. You click on the picture to change the color
