Urgh, I wanted to do my quests earlier today to avoid the lag but then the Shinwa reset failure happened. I did the Blue Building and I'm trying to do all the other main quests up to 10 (I have a GA so I have 15 quests for each) but the lag is just sooooo bad today!!!! >-<

At least 78/140 done for today.

@ Zimt yeah, it's not working for some people. The numbers for our daily goal have fallen every day I'm pretty sure it's because of the lag not letting people get anything done in a timely fashion. 😔

edit: I'm not blaming anyone for not doing their quests. I'm blaming the lag for not giving people even the chance to do more quests. I really hope staff can get it fixed up soon so we can bounce back.

I got that random event that gives you an extra Wizard quest and I didn't want to waste it so I was like "Screw it, I'll skip Shinwa today." It's getting late for me anyway.

In case we don't reach the goal, we can only hope Subeta will consider the circumstances. I'm sure we'll make it though. The harder, the better :D

I've been questing in the morning (UK time) so I've been happily avoiding the lag. Hope we can still do this :x

Yeah, I managed to get most of my quests done today, but I don't have time to sit here forever waiting for pages to load.

We're still close to our daily goals, but I feel like we would definitely be doing better if it weren't so laggy. Hopefully staff will take this into consideration and maybe extend the event a bit once the site calms down or something. Of course we still have 10 days left, but at this rate I don't really see us making it if the lag keeps up. :(

The lag certainly isn't helping... However...

I feel like we have fallen behind after a few days in every time but, if I am correct about that, we have always managed to catch up at the end.

I think there are people that aren't able or are unwilling to do the daily grind (perhaps due to physical reasons -rubs slightly sore wrists and wiggles slightly sore fingers-) who wait until the final days to make their contribution.

hmmm shinwa finally reset so hopefully the site holds it together long enough for me to do my bit p;

as for the daily goal -- if we can stick to around 80% of the daily goal and they give us a few days of everyone's a weekend quest at the end, i think we'll be alright. we'll see, though. if the site keeps acting up like this, i'll happily join the people asking for an extra day or two.

i don't feel like looking for the old quest-a-thon numbers right now, but yeah, i think there's usually a good first few days and then a dip in participation in the middle, and then a spike again at the end. (it helps if they give us an incentive like everyone's a weekend quest, haha.)

When I was questing this morning I was too impatient to let Shinwa reset :c I'm sure I would have gotten coal anyway had I waited, though. :P

she gave me . it wasn't worth waiting at all, haha!

Ahh the lag has been testing my patience with all the quests! I am still enjoying the challenge so far though!~ Keep up the great work! I think we are a little behind now but I’m hoping we can catch back up!

today is only like the second day since we started that I actually managed to do all my quests (so 15 for all except sarah) :\ I was really excited for the quest-a-thon because I really want that pet slot and I was (and still am) totally willing to do my part, but for the past few days I've been so low on spoons that I literally almost fell asleep behind my laptop trying to do all the quests a few times (even once in the middle of the day) simply because it's such an understimulating activity (I try playing music while doing them, but sometimes even that doesn't help) my brain just goes "bye I'm going to sleep now"... and the lag popping up from time to time really isn't helping either :

like I definitely did as many as I could but I'm also trying to get enough sleep and not stay up way too late just to try finish questing while half asleep.. idk why I'm having so much more trouble this time than last year.. I really hope we'll make it, we got off to such a great start (from what I remember it does often pick up more towards the end again though, especially if all of them are turned into weekend quests or give out special prizes or something like that, so hopefully we'll get that this time as well)

The lag was dreadful earlier but then I have to say there was a stretch around suppertime that wasn't bad surprisingly enough. I am glad to be done for the day though!

I try to cram as many as possible in those few moments when the lag goes away, but ugh, it's a pain.

Today is the first day that the lag hasn't made it nearly impossible to play. I hope they'll extend the deadline and extra day to account for all the server update lagginess.

Lag or no lag, shinwas reset or not, I'm managing to get my questing in. But I'm available all day to periodically check in and quest like mad the various times the site is running smoothly. If I had limited time to play, I'd be stuck questing even during the lag period and might not be able to get it done.
