I think it’s the length of the name. Forum group pings can only have ten characters and ‘loboto‘ is already six, so only ‘bite’ will fit.

I prefer keeping it ‘lobotobite’ Lobo is just too short and may be confused for Lobster Face

I noticed that, too. Why did staff suddenly change it to the British spelling? It should be ‘Vapors.’

‘Vapors’ is the correct spelling. I’m not sure why staff suddenly changed it in the news post.

I saw it spelled both ways on the strain tracking thread. Not sure which made it to the final poll (since I knew I wasn't going to vote for it).

"Vapors" leaves it with the -bites ending. I'd prefer to use the spelling on the skin, so I might wait on that one until someone says something about it either way... (either changes it or says "We're keeping the U" likes)

and I are letting Amber know that it should not have the extra U in the name.

I think vapours is a misspelling. Going to get it sorted out. Should probably be vapors
