That's a lot for a regular biter. D: You could always mute some of the more popular ones if it gets to be too much though.
how about a post over on the main Forum Groups board to recruit more folks into the biting ping groups? OP can be a quick blurb about NVLB and then a copypasta of your list.

: That's a sound idea, but maybe a bit after NYC? I don't want to get too amped about Survival in the middle of Bonfire/Luminaire and turn everyone off volunteering thinking I'm a mad zombie.
I'm pretty confident we've got the gung-ho early volunteers already (people who signed up for the year-round #nvlb group and still have the notifications turned on in Autumn...) and no matter where we put up announcements nothing's going to stop the flood of new volunteers we get when the official thread goes up and the doors open...
PS: Fabulous pet quote omg.
Yeah, good plan. Wait til people are starting to look forward to kissing and biting!
:D I love jokes and puns: the stupider the better.

It will be okay. The goal is everyone get the infection they want. I won't mute any of them.
While I think the thread info is helpful, I'm kind of worried that it might be a bit much in terms of scrolling on the forum home page for people who are in a lot of groups already (and not just our groups).

I can collapse them (but they don't stay collapsed for some reason) but the headers remain if there's a thread in the group. I can't find a way to stop them from showing up either. I think it might be a bit much.
That's a fair point. If you're in a bunch, it could certainly clutter your group forums at the bottom...
I guess there's no reason I couldn't collate pertinent information in the main forums somewhere instead, and keep the strain groups exclusively hotline pings.
Yeah, have a thread here and/or maybe in the call4nvlb one since that is more centralized?
That's a great idea. The only info I had to use any effort to look up was the VIP prices, and putting a centralized guide for that and any other clinic-specific info could get thrown in there easily!
: how does it look now? (I threw some demo threads in)
I added some spaces between the spoilers in the translation guide. I find it easier to read to work with when anything has to be edited. Otwerise, I think it looks good!
I'm going to do a test-ping for all the groups in a couple of weeks, probably shortly after New Years winds to a close on the 16th. If you don't want to get the notifications for the system test, follow this link (hopefully?) to your groups page, and click the option for "mute ping notifications" on the ones you don't want to receive!
It's getting clooooooooose...
I'm so excited for Survival.
I think I'm aiming to get Clusterflux (because of the outfit I made, eeep. Loved it XD), Blistered Hearts, and Butterfly Bruise. If lucky to get a 4th, I want to get Caterkiller, too.
What is everyone else looking into getting?

I might go for Clusterflux too because it is a skeleton under there.
But I also have a lot of strains that start with a 'B' so I might just you know, continue that trend.
I want to try and get the vial strains this year, I don't have any of them, and they are pretty neat. also excited to see what new stuff comes out, although, I was rather disappointed with the one I got last year. (naked mole wrath)
Super excited for Survival!!
I am hoping to get Virus..other than that I have been pretty open leaning towards another pink skin ^^ I squeezed in 4 last year and so my goal is to do that again haha
Haha, my friend likes to pretend he doesn't even have the skin he hates it so much. I feel bad because I picked it for him. I didn't know it would turn out to be like... that.
: I like to choose, so I wait and get my That-Year infection once the first wave has finished and I can see which one I like best. XD
My plan is probably the same as last year: drop a vial as soon as I log in after Survival hits so I'll be offset from everyone else and can get my infections when it's slow. I don't know if I'll get them all, plus a vial, plus a 2019 infection, but I've got Hive Mind, Fungus, and maybe Crack Head on my agenda.
- Crackhead is on my list for this year too. I hope to get that one, a new one, and one, maybe two of the vial ones if I'm lucky.
Do we have a list of which strains take a short time to incubate? On Subetalodge it looks like they all have eight stages.
I'm thinking about Carchari, Clusterflux, Doom Bloom, Deathslug, Crackhead, Butterfly Bruise, Freckle Fever, and Virus ... and whichever strains are rare so that I can help bite for them ... agh so many to choose from!
